First part. What Luis Hey believes.
Luis Hey begins his book with a simple but radical idea.
If we are willing to do mental work, almost anything can be healed.
Let us now understand six of his most powerful fundamental beliefs.
One, your thoughts create your life.
Luis Hey believes that your mind is like a garden.
Every thought you have, whether it is loving or hateful, hopeful or fearful, is a seed.
And that seed grows.
If you keep planting seeds like, I'm not good enough, nobody loves me, I always fail, I can't afford it.
You grow a garden full of doubts, pain, poverty and illness.
But if you change those thoughts to, I'm learning to love myself, I'm open to good things happening.
I'm safe.
I have support.
Then your life begins to reflect those seeds of love.
She says we are never victims of the outside world.
We are victims of our own habits of thought.
And if we change our way of thinking, we can change our way of living.
The point of power is always in the present moment.
Imagine that two people lose their job.
One says it's worthless and falls into depression.
The other says it's a new beginning and starts a new career.
Same event, different thoughts, different reality.
Two, everything in your life is a mirror.
Luis Hey says life is very simple.
What we give, we receive.
Quotes.
This means that your relationships, your career, your money, your health, everything reflects your internal beliefs.
If you think people will hurt you, you will attract toxic people.
If you think money is bad, you will have financial problems.
If you think love always ends in pain, you will continue to repeat the heartbreak.
This is not magic.
It is your subconscious mind that chooses what to notice, who to trust and how to behave.
Everything depends on what you think is true.
So if you want better relationships, better income, better health, you should go inside and ask yourself.
What do I believe in?
Is it helping me or is it hurting me?
Quotes.
A woman who says that all men are liars is not cursed.
She simply feels unconsciously attracted to people who share that belief until she changes it.
Three, the disease begins in the mind, not in the body.
Louise Hay was one of the first to publicly teach that physical illness usually begins with emotional pain.
She believed that cancer usually hides a deep resentment.
Back pain comes from feeling helpless.
Throat problems can reflect fear of speaking.
Stomach problems can represent the digestion of anger.
It is not saying that it is your fault to be sick.
It is saying, let's explore the pain you have been clinging to.
That could be appearing in your body.
The body, like everything else in life, is a mirror of our thoughts and internal beliefs.
A man with constant back pain could realize that he has felt that he has not had financial support for years.
Once he releases fear and builds new affirmations such as, life supports me, even pain can begin to ease.
Louise herself was diagnosed with uterine collar cancer.
Instead of choosing surgery, she went into a deep emotional healing, leaving behind child abuse, shame and anger.
And in six months, her doctors reported that she was cured.
Not only did she believe in this idea, she lived it.
Truth number 4.
Hatred of oneself is the root of most problems.
We never make mistakes.
We just don't know more until we know more.
Louise Hay, if Louise could sit in front of you right now and put her hand gently on your heart, she would say, you are not broken, you are just suffering.
And that pain comes from how you treat yourself in your own mind.
Louise Hay believed that behind almost all external problems, failed relationships, money problems, health problems, addictions, depression,
there is a silent enemy hidden inside us.
Hatred of oneself, self-judgment, self-criticism and, the saddest thing, most people don't even realize they're doing it.
They smile in public, but in private they say things like, I'm so stupid.
I'm not attractive.
I ruin everything.
I'm a failure.
Nobody will ever love me for real.
These are not insignificant thoughts, they are emotional weapons and we point them at ourselves every day.
Louise teaches that you can't really heal any area of your life if you keep attacking yourself in your own mind.
Your mind listens to everything you say and believes you.
Imagine that a child spills milk on the table and you scream, idiot.
You ruin everything.
What happens?
The child begins to believe, I'm bad.
Now imagine that that child is you and that you have been telling yourself that for 20 years.
Do you see the damage?
Louise says, the first step towards freedom is this.
Stop telling yourself bad things.
Start treating yourself like someone you love.
Every time you discover yourself being cruel on the inside, stop, breathe and say something softer.
I'm doing what I can.
I'm willing to learn.
I deserve kindness.
Even if you still don't believe it completely, say it anyway because healing begins with kindness to yourself.
Fifth truth.
The beliefs of childhood continue to control you.
We learn our belief systems from a very young age and then we move forward in life creating experiences that fit our beliefs.
Louise Hey.
This is one of the most important truths in the whole book.
Louise says,
And here's the scary part.
That inner child, that belief, is still inside you today.
Even if you have grown, it is possible that you will continue to act according to the same wrong beliefs that you learned at 5 years old.
Striving too hard to prove that you are good enough.
Sabotaging relationships because deep down you think you don't deserve love.
Fighting with money because you think you are not worthy of success.
For example, a man is constantly afraid to ask for help.
Why?
Because when he was 6 years old, his father told him,
Don't cry like a baby.
Behave like a man.
Now, at 40, he still believes that if I ask for help it is because I am weak.
But Louise says that once you realize where a belief comes from, you can say that it is no longer mine.
You can choose a new belief.
This is what she calls mental cleansing.
It's time to enter your mind with a flashlight and get rid of all the beliefs that were never really yours.
Truth number 6
Forgiveness is not for them, it is for you.
The past is over.
We can't change it, but we can change our thoughts about it.
This is one of the hardest truths for most people and one of the most powerful.
Louise teaches you that clinging to anger, resentment, betrayal and guilt is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to suffer.
You are not hurting him.
You are hurting yourself.
Your anger settles in your stomach.
Your resentment burns in your chest.
Your pain becomes a disease, anxiety, depression and, sometimes, even pain.
Louise writes,
She started saying,
I free myself, not for him, but for her.
And little by little her healing began.
Louise herself was abused when she was a child.
She had every reason to hate, be angry and seek revenge.
But she chose forgiveness, and that is what healed her life.
Forgiveness does not mean that pain does not matter.
It means that you matter more than pain.
Second part, session with Louise.
Healing begins here.
Step 1.
Your problem is not the real problem.
Do you think I'm ruined?
That's your problem.
That you are overweight.
That your partner cheated on you.
That you are always anxious.
That you have cancer.
But Louise teaches us a deep truth.
What you call a problem is just the external effect.
The real cause is your thoughts, emotions and past beliefs.
In other words, financial stress could have its origin in a belief such as I do not deserve abundance.
The drama in the relationship could come from a pattern such as love always ends in pain.
Weight could be a defense mechanism that says I need to protect myself.
The disease could be your body asking for help to screams due to years of unexpressed guilt or pain.
Most people try to fix the surface, get a new job, start a diet, start another relationship.
But nothing really changes until they go deeper and wonder.
What is the hidden emotional pattern behind this problem?
One of Louie's clients was a woman who was fired from all the jobs she accepted.
She said, he's always the boss.
He hates me.
But after talking, Louise discovered her true belief.
I'm not smart enough to be respected.
They had told her as a child that she would never get to anything.
And she believed it.
So every time a boss corrected her, she panicked, paralyzed and sabotaged herself.
That belief, not the boss, was the real problem.
The day she changed her belief to, I'm smart, capable and respected, her life began to transform.
Lesson, don't stay alone on the surface.
Ask yourself, what do you think is allowing this problem to exist?
Step two, go back to the beginning.
Where does it come from?
Our beliefs were learned in childhood.
Most of them are not ours.
We borrow them from scared and confused people.
Louise Hay-Lewis believed that almost all the negative patterns of your adult life have their origin in something you learned as a child.
When you were 3, 5 or 7 years old, you were not logical.
You couldn't say, dad is angry, for your own stress.
Instead, your child's brain said, if dad screams, I must be bad.
If your parents fought, you thought, it's my fault.
If someone left you, you thought, I'm not worthy of being loved.
If you suffered abuse, they ignored you or criticized you, you thought, I'm dirty, I'm broken.
I'm not safe.
These ideas entered your heart as facts and you took them to adulthood without even realizing it.
Louise says that if you feel stagnant in any area of life, money, love, health or trust.
You must go back and ask yourself.
When did I feel like this for the first time?
What happened around me when I was a child?
Imagine a man who suffered a panic attack every time he had to speak in public.
He thought he was just bad at speaking.
But Louise asked him.
When was the first time you felt afraid to speak?
He remembered that he was 7 years old.
At school, he answered a question wrong and the whole class laughed.
His teacher told him, are you so stupid?
That moment gave him a fear of being seen for life.
Once he remembered that, Louise guided him to say, that was his ignorance.
I'm smart.
Now I can speak safely.
And slowly he started talking again.
His panic disappeared.
Lesson.
You are not broken.
You are carrying beliefs that were formed when you were too young to defend yourself.
But now you are an adult.
Now you can return, understand and begin to free them.
Step 3.
Ask the most difficult question.
Is this really true?
That a belief is old does not mean that it is true.
It just means that you have been practicing it for a longer time.
This step is where the transformation begins.
Once you realize where your beliefs come from, you must dare to question them.
Louise believed that most people live their whole lives based on the fears of other people.
Your mother said, money is bad, so now you sabotage your finances.
A teacher said, you will never be a good writer, so don't even try.
Someone fooled you, now you think love is dangerous.
But, are these beliefs true or are they just emotional remnants of people who suffered?
Louise teaches us to say, that belief may have seemed true in the past, but now it doesn't work for me.
I'm ready to choose a better one.
A woman told Louise, I think I'm too old to find love.
Why?
Because her ex-husband told her at 45, no man wants a woman your age.
She carried that belief like a law for 10 years.
Louise kindly asked him, is that your belief or did someone pass it on to you?
Quotes point.
He paused and realized, I had never believed that before.
He made me believe it.
And at that moment, he replaced it with, I am adorable at any age.
I deserve love now.
And in a year, he found someone who treated her like gold.
Lesson, beliefs can be discarded.
You are not a prisoner of your past.
You have the right and the power to choose better thoughts.
We are never stuck.
We just keep repeating old patterns until we learn that we can choose something new.
Step 4, be willing to let go.
Let go of the old pain.
The past is gone.
You can't change it, but you can change how you feel about it.
This is the moment when everything starts to change.
Once you have identified your problem, you have traced its roots and questioned its truth.
The next step is this.
You must be willing to let it go.
It seems simple, but it is not.
Because many people are secretly attached to their pain.
Why?
Because the pain is familiar.
Because being a victim makes us feel protected.
Because if we let history go, it is possible that we will have to face the fear of being powerful.
Luis Hey teaches that you don't need to solve everything to let go of something.
You just need to be willing.
A woman told Luis, I hate my mother for what she did.
I will never forgive her.
Luis kindly asked, are you willing to forgive her?
The woman paused and said, I'm not ready, but I'm willing to try.
And that little change, that little willingness opened the door.
A few weeks later, he said, I feel lighter.
I'm not angry all the time anymore.
Finally, he forgave and his migraines disappeared.
The truth is this.
You don't have to carry what hurt you.
You can let it go, not because it doesn't matter, but because you matter more.
Now I free all the old wounds and allow love to fill me.
This step, if taken sincerely, can change your whole life.
Step 5.
Understand resistance.
Why do you feel stagnant?
Resistance is simply the mind that says, I don't want to change.
Now that you're starting to heal, suddenly fear appears.
You leave things for later.
You get angry with the book.
You think this is stupid.
You forget to make your statements.
You return to the same toxic habits.
This is called resistance.
Luis says that resistance is normal.
It is your ego trying to protect the identity with which you have lived for years.
Change is scary.
Even good changes.
As if you had always believed that you are not worthy of being loved.
Then saying that you are seems like a lie.
If you have lived in survival mode, choosing joy seems dangerous.
If the pain has been your shield, healing feels too vulnerable.
A man who had grown up in a violent home told Luis.
I don't feel safe when things are at peace because the calm was unknown to me.
The pain was normal.
That is resistance.
Not laziness or failure.
Just emotional fear.
So Luis doesn't say to keep going.
He says to be kind with your resistance.
Talk to him, understand him and then overcome him slowly.
I'm willing to change.
I trust in the process of life.
Lesson.
If you feel stagnant, it's not because you're weak.
It's because you're growing up and your old self is afraid to die.
But healing means letting go of that old version of you.
Step 6.
Learn to change.
Use affirmations and work in the mirror.
An affirmation is any affirmation you make.
The most powerful affirmations are the ones you tell yourself in the mirror.
Luis J.
Now comes the tool by which Luis J. is most famous, affirmations.
Work in the mirror.
Luis teaches that the subconscious mind learns through repetition.
If you've been telling yourself for 20 years that you're not good enough, then, of course, your life reflects it.
So now you must start feeding your mind with new healing and loving thoughts over and over again until they become your new truth.
And the most powerful way to do it is to look yourself in the mirror and say, I love you.
I forgive you.
Now you're safe.
I'm willing to learn.
I deserve good things.
Yes, it feels strange.
Yes, you could cry.
Yes, your inner critic will scream.
This is false.
But do it anyway because your inner child is watching you.
One of Luis's clients, a 50-year-old man, broke down crying after doing the work in the mirror for the first time.
He had never looked at himself with love, not even once.
And at that moment, he said, I finally see myself.
After 30 days of work in the mirror, his confidence increased.
He left an abusive job and started teaching children, something he had always dreamed of.
Lesson, affirmations are not magic.
They are mental reprogramming.
They are love expressed out loud until your soul believes it.
Step 7, do the inner work daily.
This is a life journey.
Don't get rid of all your negative thoughts from night to morning.
You start where you are and grow.
Luis reminds us that healing is not a one-time event.
It's not a switch you act on.
It's a journey.
You must be present every day as you would with your son, your garden, your pet, your dreams.
Because your mind is like a garden.
If you don't sow good seeds every day, the bad herbs will return.
That's why I recommend.
Start the day with affirmations, even if they are 5 minutes.
Forgive quickly so that resentment does not grow.
Speak sweetly in difficult times.
Celebrate small changes, even if no one notices.
Use the work of the mirror daily, even for a minute.
Replace every hard thought with a healing one.
Luis himself had to do this job every day, even after healing from cancer.
Even after becoming famous, he said, I still feel affected, but I return to love faster.
That is the lesson that makes the difference.
Healing is not perfection.
Healing is practical, and it is good to always fall and when you continue to get up with kindness.
Third part, putting it into practice.
This is where he takes all the beliefs and the inner healing work of the previous chapters and shows you exactly how to apply it in real life.
Lesson 1.
Create a daily routine that favors healing.
You have the power to choose healing thoughts every day.
Start in the mornings.
Luis says that healing is not something you think about once and then forget it.
It is something you must live, breathe and practice daily, just like brushing your teeth, eating or going to work.
Your mind needs daily care and your heart needs daily love.
That is why she teaches us a very simple but powerful idea.
Make your morning routine, your morning practice and your daily inner habit out of healing.
Because if you don't take control of your mind every day, the world will fill it with noise, fear, stress, comparison, anger and guilt.
This is what he recommends.
Wake up and put your hand on your heart.
Say good morning.
I love you.
Today is a new beginning.
While you brush your teeth or wash your face, repeat statements.
For example, I am safe.
I am loved.
Life supports me in every way in front of the mirror.
Talk about yourself.
You are doing very well.
I trust you.
You are learning.
I forgive you for yesterday.
Or write three things for which you are grateful, even if they are small.
Breathing, clean water, your eyes, your progress.
Say the statement you have chosen for the day.
For example, I deserve success.
I attract love relationships.
My body is healing right now.
A woman shared her story with Luis.
She had been depressed for years.
She couldn't get out of bed.
She hated her job and had no energy.
After reading You Can Heal Your Life, she decided to try one thing.
Simply say three statements in front of the mirror every morning, even if she didn't believe them.
At first, she cried.
She couldn't even say to herself, I love you.
But in the second week, something changed.
She said, I'm still tired, but I don't hate myself anymore.
In the fourth week, she had applied for a new job.
In the sixth week, she said, I'm healing.
I can feel it.
Not because she took a magic pill, but because she dedicated five minutes every morning to feed her soul.
Why does this work?
Your mind is vulnerable when you wake up.
It's open.
It's soft.
Therefore, what you feed at the first hour of the morning shapes the energy of your whole day.
Most people start their day by grabbing their phone and watching war, notifications, deadlines, invoices, comparisons.
But Luis says, why don't you start the day by reminding your mind that you are safe, that you are loved and deserve good things?
It's not a ritual.
It's a rescue.
It's affirmations that you can use.
I'm willing to change.
I trust the process of life.
I'm in the right place doing things right.
I'm open to new opportunities.
I choose thoughts that heal me.
Your healing doesn't start when someone loves you.
It starts when you wake up and choose to love yourself before the world has the opportunity to define your day.
Make your mornings a moment of power, not of panic.
Lesson two.
Use the work of the mirror to heal the deepest wounds.
The most powerful affirmations are the ones you say in front of a mirror while you look into your eyes.
This is the tool that changed millions of lives.
And it's what made Luis Hey famous all over the world.
The work of the mirror.
It may sound simple, even silly, but it changes lives.
This is what it teaches.
When you look at yourself in the mirror and say something kind, loving or forgiving,
it cuts straight to the part of you that is suffering.
This is because most people never look into their eyes.
We quickly go through the mirrors.
We review our appearance, but we don't stop.
We look and talk to the soul behind the eyes.
What to say in the mirror?
Look deep into your eyes.
No phone, no distractions.
Start with the most difficult.
I love you.
If you cry, it's okay.
That's healing.
Add affirmations.
You are safe.
You did the best you could.
You are not your past.
I forgive you.
You deserve love.
Do it at least once a day.
In the morning and at night it is even better.
A man had grown up in an abusive home.
He said he had never been told, I love you.
Not even himself.
Luis asked him to do the work of the mirror.
At first, he said, I can't.
I don't feel anything.
It's uncomfortable.
But he kept doing it for 30 days.
On the 12th, he cried.
On the 20th, he smiled.
On the 30th, he looked him in the eye and said, you're a good man.
I'm proud of you.
And he was serious.
Later, he wrote to Luis and said, that mirror gave me back to myself.
Why does the work with the mirror work?
It brings the inner child to the surface.
When you speak with your reflection, your subconscious listens.
You hear the tone, the kindness, the care.
If you keep saying, I'm stupid, your subconscious will believe it.
If you start saying, I'm healing, it will also believe it.
Luis' advice.
Although you still can't say the full words, it starts little by little.
I'm learning to love you.
I'm trying.
You matter.
These are not affirmations.
They are lifesavers.
Key lesson.
The work with the mirror is not a trick.
It's not about ego or beauty.
It's about building a relationship with the most important person in your life.
You.
Lesson 3.
Use affirmations for specific areas of life.
When we change our thoughts, we change the energy that surrounds us.
When the energy changes, the result must follow.
At this point, the book becomes very practical.
The idea is simple, but powerful.
Speak healer directly in the area that is hurting you.
You don't need to wait for a miracle.
You don't need to wait for someone else to fix you.
You don't need to beg life to change.
Start by planting new thoughts in your health, your money, your relationships, your career, your heart.
Just like a farmer doesn't stay in the field crying because the crops don't grow.
Plant seeds, water them daily and trust that the harvest will come.
You must treat your life like that field.
That's how it's done.
Identify the area of life that needs healing.
Problems of money, broken love life, constant anxiety, hate for your body, feeling stagnant in your work, fear of the future, deep guilt or shame, lack of confidence.
Wherever you are suffering, that's where the old belief hides.
And that's where your new affirmation must come in.
Money and abundance.
Old belief.
I can't afford it.
I'm always in the ruin.
New thought.
I'm open and ready to receive prosperity.
Money flows towards me easily and freely.
I deserve financial security.
Real result.
When people say this every day, their fear of money softens and opportunities that they had never noticed before begin to appear.
Relationships and love.
Old belief.
Love always hurts.
I attract the wrong people.
New thought.
I am worthy of a healthy and loving relationship.
I attract people who respect me and appreciate me.
Now I give and receive love freely.
Real result.
Many people began to say this and noticed that toxic people began to disappear and that genuine and peaceful friendships began to grow.
Old belief.
I'm ugly.
I hate my appearance.
I'm disgusting.
New thought.
I love and accept my body exactly as it is.
I thank my body for taking care of me.
Each cell of my body is responding to love.
Real result.
Some people reported that their food disorders began to disappear.
Others felt that the energy was returning not because of the pills, but because of the kindness with their own body.
Anxiety and fear of the future.
Old belief.
What happens if I fail?
What happens if I get sick?
What happens if everything goes wrong?
New thought.
I am sure in the present moment.
Life develops to perfection.
I trust the process of life.
Real result.
People who could not sleep at night began to say this while they fell asleep and reported peace for the first time in years.
Career and purpose.
Old belief.
I am not good enough.
I will never be successful.
New thought.
I have great talent and courage.
I do a significant job that brings joy to others.
Success flows to me naturally.
Real result.
Some started small businesses.
Others finally applied for the job of their dreams because the first success was internal.
The secret here is not just to say affirmations, but to feel them.
Let them penetrate.
Let them touch the old pain.
Let them irrigate the dry garden inside your soul.
You don't have to believe them completely yet.
You just have to be willing to start.
Lesson 4.
The body houses emotional pain and can be healed with words.
The body, like everything else in life, is a mirror of our internal thoughts and beliefs.
This is the part of the book that changed the world.
In this section, we are presented with one of the most famous tools in history.
Self-healing.
A detailed picture that shows physical diseases, their emotional causes and healing affirmations.
This is where Lewis teaches that many diseases, pains and symptoms are not random,
but are deeply connected to the emotional wounds we carry inside.
When you hold anger, your liver feels it.
When you feel helpless, your back hurts.
When you are afraid to speak, your throat closes.
When you carry guilt, your body becomes heavy and tired.
When you think you don't deserve love, your heart suffers.
This does not mean that you have caused your disease on purpose,
but that your body is always speaking and its language is emotion.
Body problem. Emotional cause. Healing affirmation.
Back pain. Less financial concern.
Lack of support. Life always supports me.
Throat problems. Fear of expressing yourself.
I say my truth freely and with love.
Heart problems. Emotional emptiness. Lack of joy.
My heart is full of joy and peace.
Migraines. Self-criticism. Pressure to be perfect.
I love myself and accept myself completely.
Stomach problems. Fear of digesting life.
I am safe. Life nourishes me.
Weight problems. Need for protection. Fear. Guilt.
I am willing to let go of what is no longer useful to me.
A woman with constant neck pain came to one of Louie's workshops.
She said no doctor could find the cause.
After speaking, she revealed that she always felt that she had to take care of her back
because her mother had betrayed her when she was a girl.
That phrase, take care of my back, became physical.
Her body carried her emotional fear like an armor.
After three weeks of making the affirmation, I trust life.
I freed the need to protect myself.
Her pain began to fade.
This is not magic.
It is the alignment of the mind and the body.
When the belief is cured, the body can breathe again.
Why is this revolutionary?
Doctors can treat the symptoms, but only you can hear what your body is trying to tell you.
This table is not about guilt.
It is about consciousness.
And consciousness is the first step for transformation.
Key practice.
Observe what area of your body always hurts you.
Check the emotional cause.
You can use the table.
Give the healing affirmation daily to that part of the body.
Send love.
Observe what happens.
Fourth part.
From pain to power.
Now comes the most powerful part of this book.
A real story of pain, healing and transformation.
This is not fiction.
This really happened.
There comes a time in every healing journey when the lessons stop being ideas and become real.
They become the blood of your veins, the truth in your tears, the strength in your silence.
This final part of the book is not about affirmations, graphics or theories.
It is about a real, raw, painful, beautiful story.
It is the story of a woman who faced the darkest moments of her life and chose to heal.
Not because it was easy, not because someone would save her, but because she finally believed it was worth saving her.
Before the books, before the teachings, before the healing, she was a little girl who learned to be afraid before learning her name.
She was abused as a child, abandoned, hurt by the people who were supposed to protect her,
they told her that it was worth nothing, that her body did not belong to her, that silence was survival.
At an early age, she escaped.
She dropped out of high school, had sporadic jobs, lived with fear and carried the invisible weight of shame,
not knowing that one day that shame would almost kill her.
Years later, after building a new life, after learning to speak on stage,
after helping others heal with words, she received the news.
Uterine cancer, cancer.
Most people would go to the hospital, get surgery and seek treatment.
But she didn't do it because deep down she knew that something worse was wrong.
She said to herself, if I believe this with years of hatred, then I can undo it with years of love.
I didn't want to treat the tumor. I wanted to treat the pain that created it.
And so began the deepest healing journey of her life.
She returned to the memories that she had buried, the abuse, the anger, the hatred of herself,
the sexual shame, the guilt that had lived in her body for decades.
She realized that this cancer is not the enemy.
It is my body begging me to stop carrying this pain once and for all.
So she did not fight against her body. She sat with it.
She heard it. She forgave herself.
She cried like a child.
She wrote letters to her parents, not to get answers, but to release the poison.
She stood in front of the mirror, looked into her eyes and said, I forgive you.
I love you.
I am not what happened to me.
She changed her diet.
She changed her thoughts.
She changed the energy of her home, her mind, her heart.
And in six months, the cancer had disappeared.
Without surgery, without radiation, without miraculous drugs, just a miraculous belief.
I am willing to leave behind the past and allow love to heal me.
She did not hide this story.
She shared it.
She turned her personal healing into a message for millions because she knew that there are people who do not believe to be good enough to heal.
People who carry traumas that do not belong to them.
People who have cried on pillows every night screaming in silence.
Will I ever be okay again?
And her answer through her story, her life and her healing is, yes, you will.
But you must be willing to do the work.
You must be willing to believe that you are not what happened to you.
You are not your mistakes.
You are not the voice that says, I am not good enough.
You are not broken.
You are buried.
And when you water yourself with love, you flourish.
You do not heal because time passes.
You heal because you become present with your pain.
You face your reflection.
You say the things they never told you.
You are forgiven.
You are safe.
You are worthy of being loved.
You are enough.
And you repeat it over and over again until one day your heart finally whispers to you, I believe you.
Healing is not a straight line.
You will fall back into old patterns.
Sometimes you will forget who you are.
There will be days when the pain returns without you having invited it.
But now you have tools.
You have words.
You have mirrors.
You have affirmations.
You have understanding.
And, above all, you have power.
Not the one that arises from fighting against others, but the one that arises from not fighting against yourself.
FINAL LESSONS OF THIS STORY
1. Nothing is too broken to heal. Not even cancer, nor trauma, nor abandonment.
2. Your body listens to your thoughts. Speak to it with love.
3. Healing begins with forgiveness. To others, yes, but especially to yourself.
4. You are not your childhood. You are who chooses to be from today.
5. You are always in a new thought of a new life.
Repeat it slowly for yourself.
Now I choose to release all fear and pain.
I am safe. I am free.
I am willing to heal and I do it now with love.
This was not a summary of a book.
It was an invitation to the soul.
An invitation to look inside, to stop running, to stop blaming, to stop punishing yourself and to start saying,
I am willing to heal.
I am ready to live.
I am choosing love over and over again.
If you have come this far, it means that your heart is already opening.
Now the question is, will you do the job?
Will you look yourself in the mirror?
Will you forgive the past?
Will you speak with healing in your present?
Will you finally choose yourself?
Because this book gave you the tools.
Now the rest is in your hands.
