That's a broken bat pop flying to right field here comes Hernandez he gets there for the first out of the game is that bat went flying up into the netting above the dugout. No no no no. We've put together this plan. We're not going to decide in the moment to change it. Five innings is what we've decided. And so he ended it right there. He's in only 68 pitches. Marte is out number two but following those five no hit innings they sat down. Kerr falls out of the sky to get him looking. And so the only man that has more extra base hits than Corbin Carroll this season. Got him blew a fastball by him after falling behind three and one Ohtani strikes out Moreno for the first out of the second. Under the payoff from Ohtani Alexander chases a slider for strike three three in a row for Shohei. Once you get about three quarters away through your swing and you've got to be geared up for triple digits. Yes. So there's ninety nine twenty six miles per hour more two pitches later six up six down for Shohei Ohtani. Fastball to one hundred to strike him out. Mackenzie all geared up to protect a way away away and then you get that ball sinking in there at a hundred. Back to back curves to get him and back to back case here in the third. As they pitch to Carroll a fastball at one oh one for strike three with the first time here the opposite of that straight and firm. Corbin Carroll thought I was going to continue off the plate. I mean this is dotted Joe I mean right on the outside part of the Moreno Martez at first representing the tying run not as much of a running threat as he once was a swing and a miss from Moreno and back to back case for Ohtani giving him eight for the game each strikeouts in the process.
