As the Founder of M.A.T, I have been molding the automotive technicians of tomorrow for over 10 years. Automotive fuels everything I do. Coming from a family of technicians, I have always been exposed to the craft. I am constantly learning and networking to maintain the prestige of the program. I boasts an extensive list of credentials, which gives me great confidence that students will leave my class feeling 100x more knowledgeable. My lessons are driven on being simple and easy to understand. I cut down on the jargon and puts complex subject matter into layman's terms. I am always learning so it’s not uncommon to find me reading or attending trainings to further my craft. I am an avid cyclist and connoisseur. I am also a private pilot so you can find me, my wife and girls, enjoying the local cuisine wherever the skies take us.
One of my roles here at Master Automotive Training is finding and creating new material to make sure
that when our students come into our program, we give them the best information they can possibly
take and apply into the field. And my second role here at Master Automotive Training is to help
educate the students who do come in, run them through our program, and mold them into the best
technicians that they can possibly be. One of the things I love working here at Master Automotive
Training is we all work as a team, and we all push each other to become better. One of the best
things that we've found here at MAT is that we push each other to excel and become better in
our craft. We do a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education every year, and that helps us be up to
date with information to pass it on to all our students who come into our classes. I have a
really down-to-earth teaching style, so I try to break down my lectures as best as I possibly can,
so this way even a six-year-old can understand the information that I'm teaching.
And one of the reasons why I do that is this way if a student can understand the basic structure
of the information, the advanced diagnosing or the advanced strategies are going to come
into play a lot more easily.
