Moto Camping Trip to Tumalo State Park, Giant Loop Garage Night, Pilot Butte, and Smith Rock

On this very fun motorcycle camping trip, I head over the mountain to Bend, Oregon to meet up with my moto camping buddies Ducfan and Beards, Bikes and Camping to attend Giant Loop Garage Night, motorcycle camp at Tumalo State Park, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Black Bear Diner, ride our Honda Africa Twins to the top of Pilot Butte, and then end a fantastic two day adventure with a trip to the stunning Smith Rock State Park near Redmond, Oregon. Along the way, we set up and test out a ton of great motorcycle camping gear, discover the multi-faceted uses of the Giant Loop Round the World panniers (they make an excellent impromptu beer cooler), light a campfire using some Bigfoot Bushcraft Firestarters, haul firewood on an adventure motorcycle, discover the secrets of the elusive Pacific Northwest Sea to Summit Manta Ray, drink crappy coffee, eat good food, and generally enjoy moto camping with friends in the beautiful central Oregon surroundings.
