POV SURFING THE CRAZIEST FOOTAGE EVER! (NEW INSTA360 X5)

Today I'm surfing with Insta360's X5 at the wave pool. Legends I'm running late for the session, quickly getting ready, got the brand new Hot Knife 2 EPS, first thing to get on it. And then of course we've got the Insta360 X5 which I'm going to be using POV with the mouth mount for this first session. A few moments later. Alright we've got a problem, we're missing an adapter piece so I can't actually put the mouth mount up. What I'm going to have to do now is this. It's going to look crazy but hopefully the footage comes out good, I don't know what the audio is going to be like but that's all we can do. Alright guys, running a bit late to the session but we got the new board, have to shove this camera by itself into my mouth so I'm praying I don't drop it or swallow it. Yeah, first thing to get out there. Let's go, it's a beautiful day. Surf a wave without dropping this. It's hard to keep this thing in my mouth but I make it do and honestly it's probably getting a really cool POV angle. And then this board, oh my gosh, feels so incredible. It's like one of the rare times I've actually clicked on a board first surf. Now the big downside of not having my mouth mount is every time I went for a turn I'd exhale and that would fog up the lens. And then obviously having it in my mouth, the audio was really weird. That's why I've chucked music over this. Other than that, this footage is so sick and I hope you guys enjoy. Now try and surf with this thing. Last one. Footage on this thing. Legends, that was so much fun. I think we just got like the sickest angles. Yeah, Legends had such a sick first session with this camera. I'm gonna go on this session now, it's intermediate and the first half of it's really tiny so I'm just gonna have some fun without the camera and then I'm gonna grab you when it picks up and get some more footage. Yo! Yeah, the start of intermediate is so small but I've got the camera now. Gonna be putting it back in my mouth and hopefully get some clips. See how the X5 looks in the cloudy conditions too. I'm now filming on the GoPro Hero 13, what I've been using just to show you guys the comparison between the footage. Now we're back on the X5. Let's go, there's only a couple left now. Such a fun session. Would have been so nice if I had my actual like mouth-to-mouth piece so I could have used that but to be honest I may do. Maybe the angle will come out even better. It's like directly in my mouth. I'm so keen to look back on all the footage. It's so sick having like an all-in-one camera where you can get your normal POV shots and then mix it up with like the invisible selfie stick and even like when you're posting reels and stuff, there's just so much more flexibility with this because it captures everything. So when you're editing and post, putting it together, you can do YouTube videos or your short form content.
