FC Goa 🇮🇳 vs Al Zawraa 🇮🇶 | Highlights | AFC Champions League Two™

Cup winners and runners-up in the league last season FC Goa from India welcome Al Zawra from Iraq to the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on match day one in Garut D. The visitors off to a promising start just five minutes in and what an opportunity for Mohammed Qasim. Meters out skies his effort denied by the woodwork nearly the perfect start for Al Zawra. They would keep the pressure on the first half of play here in India with the next opportunity just moments before the break he's on a rushed up with the header fantastic stop from Hrithik Tiwari in goal just moments later on the attack again coming in from the right side this time and the ball somehow finds its way into the back of the net nice link-up play between Abdul Kareem and Kadhi Murad. Hrithik Banihani sees the ball come off the defender back off himself and into the back of the net to give the visitors a one goal cushion at the break second half and that Goa with a promising response far better side in the opening stages 54th minute Singh picking out Chetri in the box his effort though to Bajelal Hassan with a stiff left arm to keep the efforts out 66th minute Goa keeping the pressure on scramble on the edge of the box then Borja Herrera a Spanish 32 year able to get the shot off as he's going to ground looking to guide it into the bottom corner drags it just wide up into the closing stages very little from Alzaura in the second half but they came back to life in the 90th minute Ibrahim Gbadamozi this is his effort out onto the post by Tiwari in goal very nearly a second which meant Goa were still in the game and in with a chance of salvaging something believe that not long left to go header for Siverio then maybe Siverio Spanish number nine unable to find the target as they say you don't take your chances usually end up conceding at the other end and that's exactly what happened in the 95th minute Nizar Al Rashtan from a standing position somehow fires it through a crowded penalty area and passed Tiwari in goal to wrap things up Alzaura get off to the perfect start in group D with a two nothing away win over Goa and now welcome Ronaldo's Alnasser to Iraq on match day two
