Crazy Volleyball Spikes by Melissa Vargas

And that's probably given the real advance. Oh, my God. Stop what you're doing and watch this on repeat. Flying in from the outside. At 13, it's time. Cook, tips, read all the way by Carpert and then Vargas. Oh, she is getting hot. That's a big time swing from Vargas. This ball from the backcourt just painted. They do not have Carpert in the serve receive. She's not on the floor right now. And so boom from Vargas and a low five for Santorelli. Huge swing Vargas up. 18, 19. Sahin, Vargas. Cross car, cross court, and the way she just turns away. It's like, yeah, well, I'll do this all day. It's like it's like hitting lines. Just go ahead and throw it up all the way. It's going to come up, try to stop this block. Oh, defend yourself. Goes right at Wackler hard. It's a big swing coming off Vargas. Just nailing that right. Perfect pass from Carpert, Vargas. A bazooka from the back. Coming towards the final phases of this second set, we're even closer now because not only is Vargas come up with another impossible angle, she has trodden the tightrope and somehow not touched. Top spinning serves a good one, but Simge Akos does well. And Vargas injects a little power to proceedings. That's what the crowd is waiting for. When she came in, they just want to see it. But she goes out to crank on the ball. Pass is perfect. From the middle, back to Vargas. Huge save from Simge Akos. The first serve of this five set, when it's Boucher sending that over, not the greatest of takes from Amanda Paladin, but she picks it up. The cross court gets picked up by Bousic. That's going straight back over, though. And a quick take on the inside. Kalach is denied, but she started the way she started a kid's career. Exactly the same way. 1-1, Andi Paladin, Pena Isabel, Marta, then Braille and Martinez. Vargas, that is sensational. It's a free ball, but that is some effort from Turkey. Marta resets. Off the hands they go. Elif Sahin, Vargas. Well, she saved it, then she made it. What a phenomenal volleyball player. The first ball that she had to run down here, accelerates through it, gets back up, ready to attack the ball. There's another well done. Just sharper. It's like you leave a mark in the floor, you want to go a little sharper the next time or something. She's amazing. How many times is Vargas going to hit this same cross court shot right on the tee? It's atmosphere. It is hostile as Matt comes in from Omury, backside set, sent straight down the line by Melissa Vargas. Expect to see hits like that all. She's on 16 points. We're going beyond 25. Degradi, no, pick up from Cevicioglu is brilliant. Here comes Vargas, and that is even more brilliant. Outstanding defense from Cevicioglu, and an incredible angle on that cross court swing from Vargas. Remember that Sahin will drop it with two hands. Too hot, right where she wants to be. Again, in this rotation, the one where they'll bring the middle on that spot. Here it is again, brought down. Parker over to Vargas. Are you kidding me? Melissa Vargas can't miss. You brought Parker blowing her a kiss, a scramble play. Parker just shucks it up. Vargas. Celebration as well, down on two knees. She loves it. Just pushed that back court, and eye catch was there. Brilliant dig, excellent hands from Wernerska. But Vargas has had enough. That was bounce-tastic from Vargas. Marta has to tip that. Simge Akos into Sahin. Oh, wow! Vargas still finds things to surprise us with. Two down to 6-6. Castillo. Oh, Akos is there again. It was unorthodox. Vargas. They just can't touch her. She does a little dance. Big time pass from eye catch. Vargas, so sharp. Vargas showing that reign. From Vargas. Turkey has just been so smooth and really consistent, Emily. Really consistent. These passes have been incredible. They're able to have all options. See if they can hold on to it. Great and good pass. Is that ball in? That was sharp. Vargas is gonna cut. Third set, two points for her, versus the nine and second. Oh, my goodness. Vargas. Your day. Turkey has to find a way to just keep the ball on Vargas. In these rotations, the one where she does hit. Karakurt, another really critical pass. And Vargas unloads. How challenging is this move for Karakurt to go to the left side? During week one, we saw Melissa Vargas and Ibrar. Either of these teams. Vargas. Play, perfect pass. You know everyone has to take care of their responsibilities. Dying pass from Karakurt. Vargas, snap. That feels like Vargas' first really big swing that we've seen. Attacks, blocks, and serves. Vargas. Oh, down the line she goes. The block and the backcourt helpless. They've just, the train to Spiketown has left the station and that was first stop. Run on the offense. That's the make-up set to Vargas. Earlier in the game, we talked about how Vargas was just ripping the cross court. Again, really nice pass. Oh, I'll tell you. She's put on a highlight reel right here in this first set. Where are they gonna go with it? They're scrambling around. There'll be another free ball here. Shin just dumps it over. Great chance here for Vargas. See you later. Didn't happen in the first set. Lovely pass again. All you can do is hope she misses. Yeah. You have the lead then, 7-5. Loza with a comfortable take. The elite set is contained. Backside, Vargas is not gonna be contained. That's more like it for Melissa Vargas. I mean, that's going straight over the block. You see those blockers hand. That's a nice pass. I saw her in the back row thinking, oh boy, you better turn your backs on this one because you're not throwing it back into it. Brawdy. Let's rip, go straight after Cheburguer who couldn't pass any better than that. That's how you do it. Super pass from Cheburguer, it has to be said. Vargas with a down the line kill. Really. It's a coming of age night for her. That's a really nice pass though, Vargas. You see a pass like that, you see Vargas on the backside. You don't even need to swing. It's a point to her here. And so many- A long way to go in the set. Nwakalor serves the new player, Gizem, and it ends up with Vargas again and it's another cross court that just flies off Sylvia Nwakalor and into the expensive seats. Set point, Italy. Vargas, too good. Oh, this place erupts as if they just won the set. Never mind. Karakurt. Vargas. On the money yet again. Two point lead for Poland again. Karakurt feeds it in, gets it back. Oh, Stysiak, what's she had for breakfast? Vargas, probably the same thing. Incredible volley. Karakurt with the pass, it's 21-21, but Vargas unloads. What a hit. Two years of age, serves from deep. Good ball into Sahin. Vargas on the pipe. Longest rally. Shot getting harder. Just to- Haley Washington, different look, little longer. Karakurt making her presence known. Here comes Vargas. Turkey is unstoppable. They're unstoppable. Everything's clicking for this team. Defensively, they are shutting USA down. Offensively, there's no stopping them right now.
