Hello! It's Friday evening and I'm about to meet up with a friend and we don't have any plans for the evening yet, but we want to go out.
Maybe we'll go to a bar, drink something, maybe we'll go dancing a little, or maybe we'll go to an event, like a concert, for example.
We don't know that exactly yet. We don't have any plans for the evening yet.
But first I'm going to go home to my friend. We'll meet at my friend's house and then we'll see what we'll do this evening.
I'm going to write a message to my friend and ask her if she'd like to have something from the kiosk.
Mate is a drink. Maybe you know it. In Germany a lot of people drink mate, but not the real mate like people drink it in Argentina or Uruguay or Brazil.
I'll show you. Not like this, but a sweet mate with a lot of sugar. I'm going to bring it to Lara from the kiosk.
Thank you.
What are we drinking, Lara?
I made orange juice, squeezed oranges and lemon and hot water with honey and ginger juice and a little cinnamon.
And that's my favorite cold drink. My favorite drink for colds when it gets cold outside and everyone is sick. Then it tastes very good and has a lot of vitamin C and helps you stay healthy.
Really healthy and super delicious.
Super delicious.
We'll get ready in a minute. That means we'll get dressed because it's boring and maybe we'll have a little drink first and then we'll go to a bar.
We're going to a bar to have a drink and look, this is the mate I brought Lara. A lot of people drink this mate here in Germany, right?
Yes. I love them and when I go to a country where there is no mate lemonade, I miss something. I drink it more than coffee.
What is this?
This is the foam.
This is the tea.
Yes.
Did you find it?
Yes.
The look, you say, finally.
And tell me, what are we doing now?
Now we're putting on makeup and I'm doing my hair again.
And tell me, do you always need that long to find your clothes?
Yes.
For my defense, I love fashion. For me it's an art form and finding a nice outfit, whether for me or someone else, is like painting a picture for me.
It makes me happy. I like to try different things.
Very nice.
It's very creative.
Very creative.
And Leo is not satisfied with how long I took.
Okay, Lara is doing her hair right now.
I'm trying.
Tell me, Lara, what is our plan now?
We're going to a club now.
So not to a bar?
No, to a club to dance.
And it's a very popular club in the city where I live.
And it was closed in the summer and now it's open again.
And we're going to dance a little bit.
Yes.
And what kind of music is playing in the club?
Today, there are actually a lot of different genres.
So, for example?
I think dancehall.
But also electronics.
What kind of music do you like to dance to?
Preferably to electronic music.
Like most people in Germany, right?
Yes, I think Germany is very famous for its techno.
And you can't go to something other than techno to party.
Yes.
I didn't like techno before.
But because there was nothing else, I got used to it.
I feel the same way.
And now I love it.
Yes, I feel the same way.
I didn't like electronic music before, no techno.
And now I do.
Especially to go dancing.
I learned how to dance to it.
Yes.
Okay.
And tell me, Lara, do you still need a long time with your hair?
Maybe.
Okay.
Leo is impatient.
Yes.
No, that's okay.
But the club only opens at half past twelve.
Yes, it's already late.
What time is it actually?
I don't know.
Eleven?
So the club only opens in half an hour.
So we still have time.
Yes.
Lara can still do a lot of hairstyles.
If he opens, no one is there anyway.
People come late.
Okay.
We're going.
We're going now.
And we dressed up very warmly.
Yes.
Because it's really cold outside.
Very cold.
It's eleven degrees.
Too cold.
And it's going to be eight degrees.
And Lara lent me a jacket.
Yes.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
I'm looking forward to it.
That would be cool.
This is a Wegbier.
A Wegbier.
So a beer that you take with you on the way and drink on the way to the club or to the bar.
Can you open it?
No.
Should I?
Yes.
Can you do that?
Yes.
Wait.
So a lighter, a bottle and ta-da!
It's the next day and I'm at Lara's house and I had a really nice evening yesterday.
It was really nice to dance again and yes, unfortunately I couldn't film much because it's forbidden to film in the club.
So you're not allowed to use the camera and take any pictures.
That's why I unfortunately didn't film much anymore.
But yes, it was very nice and wait, I'll ask Lara.
Lara?
Yes?
How did you like it last night?
Super nice.
Yes?
Really great, yes.
Okay.
Yes, yes.
It was fun to dance again.
Yes, I think so too.
What are you doing there?
I'm cooking for work.
You're going to work now?
Yes.
Wow.
Yes.
Good cooking.
Thank you.
Yes, so Lara also had a nice evening.
I wanted to ask you if you also like to go out in the evening and like to go dancing.
And if so, what kind of music do you like to go dancing to?
Or maybe you prefer to go to bars or not go out at all in the evening?
Feel free to write that in the comments.
I'm very curious.
And yes, if you want to support my work, you can give me a coffee at buymeacoffee.com
slash Elios Corner.
I'm very happy about that.
Thank you.
Bye.
