one thing that I learned living in the
Philippines is to not stress there's no
rush and I think in Philippines people
really like friendly and open it's uh
makes really my life is more happy
because I'm communicating
with people if the whole world will be
like that we would have no Wars really
we need more Filipinos in this
world what's up Philippines welcome back
I am your host Sy as you know I react to
everything around the Philippines and
today I would like to react to a street
interview you guys love Calvin Street
interviews I love them too because
they're very genuine and it's very
random nothing is scripted these are
just foreign people that he sees on the
streets of Manila or mainly BGC and ask
them about what they think about the
Philippines so today we are reacting to
foreigners on what they could take from
Filipino culture to their countries
which is very interesting because I bet
so many of us have great traits that we
see in Filipinos that we would like for
our home country to adapt so I'll let
you know about mine later but I would
like to hear other people's opinions so
without further Ado I would say let's
jump into it if you're new to this
Channel Please Subscribe it's free I see
that you keep coming back so please do
me a solid favor and subscribe learn
something new I will try my best to put
a smile on your face and entertain you
but yeah without further Ado for real
let's jump into the video if you could
take one thing from Filipino culture
back to your country while what would it
be genuinely friendly here
always it's a really stressful
environment you know everyone is in a
hurry and often also not so nice and
here no matter where you go Philippines
people all more chill relax how long
would it take for you to adjust to the
Filipino
culture hi guys welcome to another
episode and today I'll be interviewing
some foreigners to kind of understand
more about the Filipino culture and if
there is one thing about the opino
culture that they wish they could take
back to their country and at the end of
the video I'll be sharing my opinion as
well on one thing that I could take back
to my country please watch Until the End
let's go what's your
name my name is Joel I'm from
Switzerland but I live in London London
if you could take one thing from
Filipino culture back to your country
what would it be I've only been here for
7 days but one thing I didn't notice is
people are genuinely friendly here
always SM I know life isn't always easy
in the Philippines but people don't seem
to let let that get them down so
bringing that positivity back will do us
some good for sure are you just you
around the Philippines no I was in
Puerto Galera I was uh diving oh so
you're di yeah I mean not really I just
did my Advanced so and how was it uh it
was great I mean it's probably one of
the best Dives I've ever had there's so
nice and are you planning to go to any
Island besides I mean Puerto galero no
unfortunately we were just there uh we
didn't have that much time we're
visiting a friend who lives there who's
working there as a Dive Master so we
just and we have very short visit we
have to short he has to come back I know
you just have been here for 7 days but
what did you know about the Philippines
before coming
here honestly not too much I had friends
who are from the interesting parents are
Filipino or part Filipino Switzerland
and U they told me you know the major
things like some of the food um
jollybee I didn't know much about
culture I saw some news about you know
their president and that's it really so
coming here with a real eye opening
which is not always the best news
unfortunately so hopefully International
media will show more about the
Philippines in a better light and also
there are plenty plenty of YouTubers who
are doing a great job promoting the
Filipino culture yeah for sure okay but
and lastly I usually ask this to the
people that are they haven't been here
for too long how safe is the Philippines
for you in your own opinion for this I
mean for the past seven days that you
have been here I'm pretty sure you have
gone around how safe do you
feel I felt safe um I mean it's also you
know I'm
6'2
dark it's not really I'm not really in
danger a lot so it's okay for me even
for me as a girl I'm not I was not in
danger bit sketch but I haven't seen it
yeah thank you so much and appreciate
for time have a great time in the
country brother thank you so much bro
appreciate it what's your name and where
you from hey my name is Killian and I'm
from Germany if you could take from the
Filipino culture back to your country
what would it be uh I would say it's
definitely like the attitude everyone is
having here everyone is chill and and
relaxed and back in Germany usually it's
really stressful environment you know
everyone is in a h I agree of also not
so nice and here no matter where you go
of not so nice is an understatement I
would say because I know German culture
and it's just I would say the state of
the mind is just to be grumpy sorry nice
to you and yes I would say that's most
the best thing I would take back to
Germany 100% for how long you have been
in the Philippines uh not too long
actually for four weeks now weeks oh
that's not bad what is something that
you knew about the Philippines before
coming here I mean for me like
Philippines was always like a in country
so I also thought about Manila it's not
that advanced not that not that modern
and especially like or um ppgc is like
totally different way more she like a a
developed City
and and what is one thing that you wish
the knew about a full of
v um I think that there's a lot you can
you can do here it's has really really
modern Parts in the country and yeah I
would also say it has kind of its own
culture which I also did not expect
before I mean especially when you're
from Europe you think Asia is all the
same somehow and but you see a
difference different countries and I
agre the Philippines are definitely also
unique un okay thank you so much and
appreciate for your time thank you so
much thank you brother thank you what's
your name and where you from my name is
Toby I am from Germany if you could take
culture back to your country what would
it be um one thing from Filipino culture
I think what I super appreciate about
appreciate about the Philippines is dead
or about Filipinos is dead no matter how
bad you feel you wake up in the morning
don't feel great right but uh first
thing you notice is someone smiling at
you opening the door just so always some
joke on your on their lips so that's
really what I appreciate and what do you
love most it's very lighthearted in the
Philippines that's also something that I
noticed coming from Austria and I also
lived in the US and when I came to the
Philippines people were just joyful and
smiley and friendly and I also said
there was no road rage yes people get
angry but then you're like angry and you
look at them and they're smiling and
you're just like okay I'll smile back
because you have really no reason to be
angry at a person who is smiling at you
in a very friendly way and just like
saying sorry you know for the country
it's not the end of the world most about
the country yeah it kind of has to do
with the people I guess like just um
people are really open-minded um it's
easy to talk to people it's easy to make
friends um yeah I I guess it's it really
has everything to do with the people and
very approachable yeah I agree of course
since uh it's easy to converse also
since everyone knows how to speak at
least some little English so that makes
a lot of things easier compared to other
Southeast Asian countries yeah comparing
to other country how long do you think
would it take for you to adjust to the
Filipino culture
I
think good question good question I
think
um it it it takes a while maybe like in
the beginning you don't notice it
because everything feels very easy
because of what I just said right
everyone's approachable but there are
things here and there that are still
different um so that takes a while to
completely understand what the
Philippines are about I agree how things
work out here um but in general I'd say
you can get along quite fast with people
here so yeah it's all about uh being
open as well openminded as well thank
you so much and appreciate for your time
have a great time brother thank you so
much man thank you what's your name and
where you from uh hello my name is uh
Marcel Russia he looks like a
Russian okay yeah new okay okay guys
it's going to be on the description blog
please check him out brother let me just
ask you if you could take one thing from
Filipino culture back to your country
what would it be oh it's a kind of
interesting question to me because I
from kind of specific country russan a
lot of people know like like some
stereotypes about Russians like they not
smiling they kind of rude cold something
and I can say part stereotype is really
true because I'm living already in
Philippines more than a year and I
already I can see like difference
between like Russian people who like
walking in outside and they really like
strict cold without any emotions on
their face and uh in Philippines people
more more chill relaxed more chill
yeah time we know I like this kind of uh
culture stuff and yeah one thing that I
learned also living in the Philippines
is to not stress because it's not the
end of the world world and there's no
rush if you're rushing you're just like
attracting bad vibes so just relax it's
not the end of the world if you're late
to something everything can be discussed
so if it will be in Russia also like
that it will be really great yeah I like
Russia and also I like Philippines
Philippines okay and you you have been
here for one year right what do you love
the most in the country this one year uh
yeah I thought about uh also before and
uh I thought it's nature something
natural Islands beautiful but I think uh
what I really like more is uh people
around me the people it's always the
people communicate with different people
and I think in Philippines people really
like uh friendly and open it's uh makes
really my life is more happy because I'm
communicating
with guys good people it's nice okay
nice brother and beautiful just lastly
what is would you give to other
foreigners that they want to come and
visit the
Philippines uh I um maybe my uh more
like important advice it's uh just be
also friendly because people here
friendly and you should be friendly
polite age uh don't be so like bold we
can say bold yeah because Asia Asia
culture uh it's not about yeah and
respect something simply respect guy
just be like friendly and simple and
that's all yeah thank you so much and
appreciate for your time and guys by the
way here's a
YouTuber if the whole world would be
like that we would have no Wars really
we need more Filipinos in this world be
on the description below please go and
check it out thank you so much brother
if you like Asian girls you can check my
oh my God okay guys on description below
thank you so much and I think now you
guys want to hear my opinion right so
let's go to the next part of the video T
hi guys I guess now is my time right I
think for me the first thing that comes
into my mind when we talk about a
Filipino culture it is the Filipino
heartbeat of a Filipino culture what do
I mean by that how proud are Filipino
when it comes to the Filipino cure like
I don't know if you guys have met
Filipinos like overse and the way they
embrace the culture the way they bring
the culture into other country as well I
mean they don't forget about the roots
right
so sorry guys so yeah it's like it's
like they don't forget where they came
from even if they even if they left the
country they always want to come back to
the country they always want to come
here support a family so I think that is
one of the thing that could I me that
called my attention when I came here for
the first time and when I met other
Filipinos as well and I think the other
one is going to be on how suppor
Filipinos are
they're looking after each other a
friend opening like a rest or opening
like a bar and on the first day when you
go there like on the opening day most of
the people that go there like um the
friends so like I just see how
supportive you guys are in between your
friends as well I have seen like friends
like musician doing first fall and a lot
of friend to buy the ticket to go and
support it I mean the friend as well so
I wish this is something that I wish
it's not like we don't support each
other but I think in the support is just
into another level and one thing I don't
like if I talk about the people I know
that other foreigners they have talk
about the people already so that's why I
talk we to I don't want to be like the
same I mean having the same opinion but
of course I I kind of I kind of
understand one thing is like the smile
of the people as well that I would I
wish I could take back to my country as
well and the last one is the
fiestas so I wish I could take the
fiestas back to my barang Guai back in
my country so that every year everybody
comes together go to my's house to eat
different type of food that's such a
beautiful experience here in the
Philippines me I have experienced a lot
like a lot in different provinces sik
Hall dag
Batangas and B
Manila and by the way I'll be going to
attend the mascara event it's another
type of Festival in which I will have an
experience as well so I wish this type
of like everything that I just said I
wish I could take back to my country
thank you so much for watching until the
end on the comments below let me know
what you think about the video
and don't forget stay safe and always
chase your dreams see you guys into
another episode I'm gone nice all right
definitely subscribe to his channel I
love his content it's very educating and
easy to watch and always puts a smile on
my face to be honest one of the things
that I admire about the Philippines is
just the joy and kindness that they have
the togetherness like they say even
though life is not easy at times they
still put on a smile and just embrace
the day as it is because it's just could
be the last day on Earth we count our
blessing there's a lot of gratitude in
the Filipino culture many times before
meals or before special events Filipinos
come together to pray so it's just such
a beautiful thing to witness as a
foreigner when you are in need of help
they come and help you they don't expect
anything in return they will give you
the last truth if you ask them to so
it's like a very giving culture a very
friendly culture kind and respectful so
that is something that I love about
Filipinos let me know in the comment
section down below what you think about
the things that the foreigners mentioned
here if you agree or disagree if there
is something that you would really like
to highlight about the Filipino culture
and yeah if you enjoyed this video
