Germany's BEST PLAYS | FIBA EuroBasket 2025

Needs and wants to drop, skips it, to Silva, into them. Great defensive effort, super move, and one. And then just the finish. You got to go quick. And no, he made it! A three-pointer to Silva! Unbelievable! What might that do? The Germans. Tristan to Silva, beyond mid-court. Wow! Oh, look at this! Schroeder inbounds it off of Shengun! Schroeder, running at the D, puts it up on the stride! Got it! Seconds away from winning the Eurobasket. Here's Schroeder. Oh, his pass intercepted by Larkin. He's going to spread ahead. Oh, look at Bunga again! Gets a rejection. Impressively, he is chased down and gotten swats on fast breaks by Shengun. And that triggers a break for Jetty. And he gets blocked by Franz. What a rejection. And then Bunga. Not happy with the call there, but again, Schengun. The lead remains seven. Wagner. Look at him go to the basket! He's taken over! Two great finishes. The first, the dunk, then drawing the foul. Franz Wagner. Germany playing with a little sense of urgency here. They can get it up and... Oh! Obst! You can see Obst. We know he's a great three-point shooter. Shot clock running down. Obst. Looking for space. Schroeder. Takes it deep. High off the glass and in! With the left hand! Franz. Wagner. Oh my. Oh my. What handles. Maybe his body was healthier. He got through the season without feeling as tired. Schroeder goes long. Oh! Touchdown! Here's that touchdown pass. And this is just, you know, obviously they kind of communicated. Definitely. Penza was looking for the pass, made the pass, but Marquesas is just not looking for it. Oh! Nice pass! Schroeder to Tyson. ...that Pele Larson. It's disappointing he's not playing today because I think this would have been a good game, win or lose, for him to kind of get back on track. We haven't seen Bona create a lot off the dribble. Franz Wagner gets it up, looking for the foul, but he's so good he makes the shot anyway. Dennis Schroeder with a little bit of... Well, we've got the replay here of Schroeder just... Just playing. Just balling. Just playing. Moves it on. Dennis Schroeder. Five minutes remaining in the game. Schroeder. Just breaks the defense down. Stops at the elbow. Makes the two. Five point game. Schroeder. Takes the five screen. Oh! Improvisation on the pass. In complete control. Yeah. Bello will hand it off. Down the lane. Off the glass. It's blocked. Daniel Price just flew over. Six seconds of defense. Yeah. Tubeless. Goes inside. Lejewicz wide open. Ties for... Goodness me. What a heads up defensive play. Hands from Germany are loving what they're seeing. And I think that's the last... But they are taking a lot of shots in the first ten seconds of possession. Oh! With the big time rejection. Maybe their three is left somewhere in the air. Uh-oh. Franz Wagner gets ahead of the break! Explodes for the dunk. Amazing when he steals and goes out of the break on his own. Germany with a five point advantage. Quick pass. Another layup. This is beautiful point guard play from Dennis Schroeder. It's also how you ask and how you do it. Anyway, Ties gets it to Wagner. Ties skillful in that mid-roll. The dunk guarded by Williams. Big opportunity for Travant Williams to guard one of the best players in international basketball. And he throws it off for Daniel Ties. Absorbs the contact. But there was the escape dribble. Oh, that got him surrounded. Back over to Bunga. Bunga drives. Oh, and he dunks it! You see the long closeout. Bunga this time gets by Osmani. Now Schroeder. A switch. Now he's able to get inside. Passes it back to Bunga for three. Oh, he hits another! A go-ahead! You know, when you win a championship, you need certain players. Great block by Bunga. He gets into the paint. First great defense here from Bunga. Talk about his defensive rebounding. His shot blocking. And suddenly the momentum starts to swing to Germany. And Schroeder takes it deep. Gets it to Bunga! Yes! Bunga drives in. Lays it up and in. Schroeder for three. Yes! Dennis having one of his amazing games today. 26 points now. 12 points to lead. And Germany continue to pile on the pressure. Stretch that lead again. Schroeder gets up and knocks it Schroeder on the bench as well. Low. Still has it. And puts up a tough shot! But it is good at the buzzer! Schroeder. Paces relent. And the super pass! Timeout, Finland. Gets it back. Switching defense here by Montenegro. Taking away shot opportunities. And that was well defended! But even better offense as Lowe knocks that three-point shot down. While shooting. Oh, for three. You know it! So many weapons! Right now, Germany with a chance to get closer. Schroeder They get it down low. Oh, just made it. It was almost as if they froze Bonner. Just in the nick of time. Schroeder. Bunga. Oh, Bunga! In the game. Here's a high runner. Nope. Bunga gets it back. Schroeder for three. That's what they need! And maybe that'll get Schroeder. Oh, from downtown. Yes! That's what he does! James Hazard. He goes right in as well. Great defense. Wall of defenders and now Franz Wagner again. Just is breathtakingly good! The faster he goes, the better he is! And Osman avoids. He goes up. He misses. Germany have done it! Have won an absolute battle against Turkey here at the Arena Riga. Facing adversity. Numerous players stepping up in the big moments. They win 88 to 83.
