Tico Tico no Fuba -Z. Abreu, Guitar Duo 유은지, 이호진
5 Video Views·Sep 17, 2025
Tico Tico was composed by Brazilian Zequinha de Abreu in 1917 as part of the repertoire for a dance party conducted by Abreu. Initially, the piece didn't even have a title, but after it was composed, Abreu observed people dancing to it and remarked, "It looks like a little bird pecking at grain," leading to the title "Tico Tico No Fuba." Tico Tico means little bird, and Fuba means cornmeal, so the title can be interpreted as "Little Bird on Cornmeal."
We hope you enjoy this upbeat guitar duo performance :)
