Today, we're trying ramen from one of the central locations in Bangkok, Thailand, at
one of the most popular shopping malls.
So let's see if ramen from a popular, mainstream location can be any good.
The ramen touchdown doesn't have a very distinct smell, nonetheless does smell good.
So before adding all the condiments, we're going to test out the broth.
This is tonkatsu ramen.
The broth is nice and creamy.
Oh wow, light, salty, not too intense pork flavor, also not too oily.
So I usually like to add several things in my ramen if they're available.
This shop, actually, I'm rating it five out of five for having all the condiments necessary.
They have garlic, which is going in right now.
Look at that.
We're going to add vinegar.
I love a lot of vinegar.
A bit of sesame seeds, chili powder, chili oil.
Mix everything in, mix everything in.
You see, the broth is changing the color now.
This is actually my favorite size.
You see how thin it is?
Oh, check this out.
The broth also changed the color now.
Wild.
Ginger time.
So we're just going to add a generous amount of ginger.
All right, let me try the broth.
Mmm.
This is what I'm talking about.
Spicy, garlicky, sour as well of that vinegar, you get me?
Oh, check this.
All right, let's check it.
Mmm.
Mm-hmm.
Perfect texture of the noodles soaked in this rich, rich broth.
Bro, check this huge slab of meat.
Wow.
Kakuni pork, let's go.
Mmm.
Proper thing for real.
Yeah.
This ramen is what I'm talking about.
Fatty parts of the pork are literally melting.
They're just, I don't know how they're still holding together,
but the meat is so tender.
Heavy ratings for the meat.
They actually seared it, too.
So this particular ramen that is located in Central World,
top tourist location, is fully, fully certified.
I'm going to give it an 8.5 out of 10.
Honestly, it has everything what a perfect tonkatsu ramen can have.
I'm going to leave the location of this restaurant down below.
That's going to do it for today's video.
Smash that like and let me know what other foods would you like me
to review here in Bangkok, Thailand.
I'll see you in the next one.
