Paul: Michael Greenfield is a dear friend and one of the finest makers working today. This G3 is a perfect example of his artistry—small-bodied, yet full and balanced in a way that makes it equally at home in the studio or on stage. I especially love the 13th-fret neck joint, which not only brings the bridge into that sweet spot of the lower bout for added tone, but also makes playing a joy with its easy reach. Add to that the Laskin-style arm bevel for comfort, and you have a guitar that simply invites you to keep playing. This one speaks to me on every level.

Logan: Sweetness and pop in equal measure, this G3 feels both intimate and boisterous at the same time. The slightly slender G3 proportions keep the guitar feeling small and comfortable in hand, but Michael's baked in some good headroom for a range of attacks. It's great in DADGAD, standard, you name it. I particularly appreciate how notes have a distinct plosive quality that translates to a quick response and string energy. Pretty sweet stuff!
