Plot: A fascinating and richly intricate tale that brilliantly weaves historical fact with fiction for a timely, cinematic experience, 20th Century Studios’ and New Regency’s original crime epic about three close friends who find themselves at the centre of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.
I know.
It's just amazing.
I mean, fortunately I spent a lot of the year in London because we're making Barbie here,
but to be back in a premiere is pretty special, and especially a movie like this.
It was such a long time coming, so it's really nice to be showing it to the world now.
Thank you so much.
It was good to have that much time to develop Valerie,
but if it didn't end soon I was probably going to lose my mind, yeah.
Thank you so much, guys.
Oh, that's such a tough one.
I don't know, I've done both and I really can't decide.
You get to work with the amazing Christian Bale in this.
For you, what is the quintessential performance?
Because there's so many in his rich catalogue.
We were talking about that today, and he's got, I mean, like you said,
do you say American Psycho?
Well, I mean, I was thinking today Empire of the Sun.
He was so young and he's brilliant.
He's a fully formed Christian Bale actor at whatever age he was when he made that film,
so I couldn't pick a favourite.
He's also Batman, I mean, that's cool.
That's just cool.
Hi, Margot, nice to meet you.
Oh, okay, great.
Hi, nice to meet you.
In this movie, obviously, you're stuck in kind of a murder-mystery-conspiracy vibe,
so I don't know if you know, but in real life you have your own conspiracy theory online.
I do?
Yeah, but you and Emma Mackey are the same person,
and you speak French in this film, which she is.
Her French is far better than mine.
That will put the conspiracy to rest immediately.
She also speaks Spanish, and she also has an amazing singing voice,
and I cannot speak Spanish.
I'm not fluent in French, and I don't have an amazing singing voice,
as you will also find out in this movie.
So I think that will finally put that conspiracy to rest.
We're not the same person, but we are friends, and I love her.
Margot, lovely to see you.
Nice to see you too.
Hey, you guys, huh? Is that from the Goonies?
Guys.
Hey, you guys!
