Eagles' defense shines in Super Bowl rematch as Philly beats the Chiefs 20-17 at Arrowhead Stadium

The Eagles are now 2 and 0 after grinding out a win in Kansas City. The Super Bowl rematch was a pretty good one with the birds running the ball, controlling the block, getting that W no matter what. Action News sports reporter Jason Dumas has more from Kansas City. I know I sound like a broken record, but the Eagles did it again. They found a way to win. It wasn't the prettiest win, but you don't get any extra points for style. They're just thrilled they're heading back to Philly at 2 and 0. This team, uh, DNA just is resilient. It's going to try to just find a way to win, you know, no matter what that looks like. It's who we are, you know, that's our that's in our blood. That's our, uh, personality. So, um, every guy in this room knows what we got to do. Um, regardless of how large the margin is or how small the margin is, we're going to try to get a dub whatever whatever way possible. Find a way to win. Take pride in winning any way that you possibly can. Work to get better throughout the week. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Take pride in winning one and take take pride in in and what is required of you to win. And I think as a team, um, you know, defensively, they play lights out. Offensively, we showed up when we needed to. No rest for the weary for the Eagles. They have another really tough matchup coming up. They'll host the Los Angeles Rams, a team they beat in the postseason on the way to the Super Bowl last year. Reporting in Kansas City, I'm Jason Dumas, Channel 6 Action News.
