S1 EP3 (2023 Series) – The Adoption Story:
Anya Gibson, a mother of three, lives at the southernmost tip of New Zealand. She was adopted at the age of four from an orphanage (Number 12) in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Before being adopted, she was cared for by her grandmother. However, it was later discovered that she had been placed in the orphanage because her grandmother was unable to care for her. Anya has tried to uncover her past connections, but many questions remain unanswered. She shared her journey with me from the very beginning.
