When it comes to Hollywood A-listers who like to keep things a little mysterious, Colin Farrell
is definitely near the top of that list.
The Irish actor has been a star for decades now, with memorable roles in In Bruges, The
Lobsters, The Batman, and more.
But while Colin might shy away from the spotlight when he's off set, his taste in homes has
been making headlines.
From a century old Tudor revival in the Hollywood Hills, to a Spanish revival compound in Los
Feliz, and even a secluded mountain cabin in the Sierra Nevadas, Farrell has quietly
built himself a real estate portfolio that's just as impressive as his acting career.
So today, we're taking you inside Colin Farrell's homes, past and present, to see how the Dublin-born
actor has been living in 2025.
Guys, I have an important announcement about this channel.
There is someone trying to take this channel, Famous Entertainment, down and have everything
that I've worked so hard on deleted.
Click the link in the top comment and I'll explain everything at the end of this video,
so please stay tuned.
Let's start with one of Farrell's most charming former residences, a 1927 Tudor revival tucked
away in the Hollywood Hills.
Colin purchased this storybook-style property back in 2010 with his then-girlfriend, just
after the birth of their son.
The couple split in 2012, but Farrell held onto the house for a full decade.
This nearly century-old home was designed to feel like the English countryside, complete
with arched doorways, steel casement windows, and a cozy brick fireplace.
Spread across three stories and nearly 3,000 square feet, the four-bedroom retreat had
coved ceilings, built-in bookshelves, a study alcove, and even a banquette with views of
the Hollywood sign.
Outside, the property covered almost 10,000 square feet with garden paths, mature foliage,
a bocce court, and a hot tub.
Plenty of space to add a pool if you wanted, but the real charm here was the privacy and
timeless character.
Farrell eventually sold the home in 2020 for around $1.3 million, more than he paid, but
it's steel compared to what Hollywood homes are going for now.
In more recent years, Colin Farrell has been gravitating towards Spanish Revival architecture.
In 2023, he sold a Mediterranean villa-style home he owned for 17 years.
And in true celebrity fashion, the buyer was none other than YouTuber Ludwig Aggren.
Farrell bought the home for $4.3 million back in 2006, and flipped it for $5.3 million,
pocketing a cool million-dollar profit.
Not long after, Colin upgraded to a larger Spanish Revival compound in Los Feliz, reportedly
paying $5.9 million.
This 5,200-square-foot estate boasts five bedrooms and six baths, and was once owned
by none other than famed Hollywood director Frank Lloyd.
Inside the property oozes Mediterranean charm with bright white walls, natural light flooding
in through arched patio doors, and rustic fireplaces that anchor the living spaces.
The kitchen carries a desert-inspired vibe with sandy-colored cabinets and an open layout
that flows right into the garden.
Outside, this place really shines.
A sparkling pool surrounded by lush landscaping, multiple patios and balconies overlooking
the city, and even a detached guest house.
Add in a wine cellar, a private movie theater, and all the space you'd need to unwind after
a day on set, and you've basically got the perfect hideaway for a Hollywood star.
But Colin Farrell hasn't confined himself to Los Angeles real estate.
In 2023, he scooped up a $1.3 million cabin in Mammoth Lakes, deep in the Sierra Nevada
Mountains.
This home is the definition of an escape.
About 2,000 square feet, with three bedrooms and a rustic, wood-paneled design.
The standout feature here is the view.
The cabin backs right onto national forest land with unobstructed vistas of the snow-capped
Sherwin Mountains.
A massive deck wraps around the property, perfect for soaking in the scenery or enjoying
a quiet moment away from Hollywood.
Inside, the home features vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and an open plan living
space that flows from the kitchen to the dining area.
The 9,500 square foot lot backs directly onto national forest land, offering peace of mind
that those views will remain unobstructed for years to come.
Inside, the master suite serves as a private sanctuary, complete with a walk-in closet,
a spa-like bathroom with a freestanding soaking tub, and direct access to the deck.
Additional amenities include a one-car garage with an overhead storage loft, plus a driveway
with room for two more vehicles.
All designed to make mountain living as comfortable as it is picturesque.
It might not be the biggest property in his collection, but it's arguably the most
peaceful.
For a man who often plays intense, brooding characters on screen, you can imagine why
Pharoah would want somewhere like this to recharge.
So, whether he's restoring old-world Tudors, upgrading into Los Feliz luxury, or retreating
into the mountains, Colin Farrell's homes reflect his unique balance of Hollywood stardom
and quiet privacy.
In 2025, he continues to keep his personal life out of the spotlight, but his real estate
moves give us a little glimpse into how this Oscar-nominated actor really lives when the
cameras aren't rolling.
That'll wrap up this look at Colin's homes.
