One person’s courage and empathy can shape generations. Anne Kjær Bathel, a Rotary Peace Fellow, shares her family’s story fleeing Nazi Germany in 1933 as the inspiration for her work with refugees seeking safety today.

Anne founded ReDI School of Digital Integration, offering technical education and social integration to refugee children in Germany, while fostering the children's emotional wellbeing. She has dedicated over 7,000 hours to peace building and 4,000 children have been supported so far.

Peace isn’t passive. It’s a choice we make. A commitment we live. And a future we shape together.
