Every Goal from Gameweek 1 - Barclays WSL 25-26

Tarkin's are up against Greenwood. Gets the ball across and fine! Fever-Jones who finds the back of the net! Mario flicks around the corner for the first time and now she's burst into the penalty area. Back across to the American, she misses it but Maga Hamano is there to get Chelsea's second goal! Ball a little bit too easy. Manchester City undone at the back. And Maga Hamano makes it Chelsea 2, Manchester City 0. And it's in. Manchester City have a goal back. They've been knocking on the door and they've got one back in this game now. Alex Screamer with the delivery in. Something for those Travelling City fans to celebrate. Aslani. Goes! Into the bottom corner. That Kosovor Aslani has put the London Philly Lionesses in front and the European champions. Smith. Glides past players with ease. Smith! Oh, what a strike that is! Broadway goal. And what a way to mark your debut. Aston are back on their return. Russo. Turns it into the middle. Kelly. 2-1. Aston are 13 on the first half. It's coming into the middle and it is a third goal. Lillian. Makes it 3-1 to Aston. Into the middle, it's four. Two goals in quick succession. What a strike. Broadway goal. Knight. Might drop United's way here. Barella-Toon! Manchester United squeeze in the opener. On towards Turner. Against a customary guard. She is well and truly in the groove at the start of this campaign. Jansen. Might tickle us there, but so was Mallard. They have the three points in the bag now for sure. There's been little doubt in truth since the very start of the game that that rubber stamps a win on opening weekend. Mallard. With time for support. But Mallard passes it herself. And that is one. That just rounds off the perfect opening day. Sums up Mallard as a player. So punctured, so skillful. Again, it's Ella-Toon at the heart of it. She chokes her shoulder twice. The overlap from Jess Park just creates a little bit of an opportunity for her to come inside on a favoured right foot. And she has been absolutely brilliant today, Mallard. Possibly had no chance. The fisk. The head in her hands after it. I think that was there to be met. Nailed it. Getting her touches. Kerry Holland back doing the defending. Promise for Everton for the first time in the game. Great effort. Brilliant equalising goal out of absolutely nothing. And Liverpool corner ends with an Everton goal. It is 1-1 at Anfield. They haven't had a kick, but it's all square. Why is it Anfield again? The cross. It's worked out OK. Pacheco's cross. It's 3-1. And it's another absolute beauty from her. This time with her head. Pacheco sets up her second. Vignola scores her second. It's Liverpool 1-1 Everton 3-1. It is scarcely believable, but they have been very good today. There's no flag here. Like she timed it well. Surely not. Another one it is. This one via Gemma Evans. They're a dream debut. There is what's happening to Ornella Vignola here. Not quite as spectacular as her first and second, but every bit as important. Everton lead the Dutch by four goals. Eventually England comes up. Owens strikes it in. Walsh went the right way. But there was precision from the penalty spot. From the Spurs skipper. Big moment. Big player. Big finish. To step up and finish like that, that's exceptional from Bethany England.
