Fall Moto Camping Trip With Friends on My 2022 Kawasaki KLR 650 Adventure

It is fall and the weather is getting colder and wetter, but that didn't stop my friends and I from getting out on a fall moto camping trip near Detroit, Oregon. In this motorcycle camping adventure, three friends and I ride up Santiam Canyon through the areas destroyed by wildfire last year, stop for lunch in Detroit, Oregon and check out the incredibly low water level of the lake, and then head out around Detroit Lake to a top secret dispersed camping spot on the south side of the lake. A very enjoyable motocamping evening was had by all, including firewood gathering, camp setup, cooking brats on sticks over the fire, and the consumption of many beverages around the campfire. Motorcycle camping on my 2022 Kawasaki KLR 650 Adventure is always fun, but its even more fun with friends like Nathan (on his KTM 500 EX-C), Ryan (on his Honda Africa Twin) and Travis (also on a Honda Africa Twin). Cold weather motorcycle camping can still be enjoyable, and this fall motocamping trip is a perfect example of what I mean.
