02-AI Workflows\01-Productivity\01-The Ultimate Guide to Generative AI Course\01-Section 1 - Intro To Generative AI\01-11 Introduction to Generative AI - SCAI002
If you're new to the world of AI, I want to get the most comprehensive guide
on how to get the most out of this technology, you're in the right place.
I'm going to show you everything you need to know to become far more
productive in your personal and professional life using AI.
And because AI is evolving so quickly, we want to make sure we keep adding
to this very course and update any existing videos that get outdated.
And we want to make sure this way you have the grasp on the latest AI tools.
And that way you can use them in the most efficient way and always up to date.
So this course is all about generative AI.
So what is generative AI?
Well, it refers to a category of artificial intelligence that could
basically generate something new.
Some of the things you could generate, for example, are just text outputs.
So it could just output words.
It could output images.
It could do music and videos, all types of different creative outputs.
So the word generative comes from the concept of the systems that basically
produce or generate outputs on their own with the user's input.
So we're going to talk all about the input side or what we need
to give to these types of models.
And to put it in the simplest way in a one sentence structure, it's basically
artificial intelligence that could create new content.
Now, the way it does this though, is with years of training that these
type of models have to go through.
So some of the biggest companies like Google, Meta, that owns Facebook, Adobe,
OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, they basically take a large set of data and
they feed it to these models and they train these models over time.
Sometimes it takes several months.
Sometimes in the case of OpenAI, it takes many years.
Now, these large models, basically they get trained on text documents.
They get trained on images, sometimes video files, and it gets
way more technical than that.
But that gives you a big picture overview of what generative AI models
are and how they work.
And in this course, we'll look at a wide variety of generative AI tools.
We'll dive deeper into some.
Some are going to be introductions.
So you could dive deeper with other courses that we have.
And this way you get the most out of all of generative AI, especially the most
useful products that are out there right now.
Let me show you inside of the course and show you exactly how it's organized.
Okay.
On the left side of this page here, where you're watching this video, you
can see the entire course curriculum.
And as you go through these videos, they will just automatically autoplay.
So in the first section, I'm just going to cover everything related to generative
AI, including some of the top tools like ChatGPT.
I'm going to give you a huge list of different prompts to get the
most out of ChatGPT over here.
And then in section two, we're going to jump into prompt engineering.
This is the art of talking to these AI chatbots to get the
most out of these AI chatbots.
So we'll cover different prompting techniques here, how to revise your
prompt to get the most out of what you're looking for, and then in section
three, we're going to look at Midjourney.
This is my favorite text to image platform.
And this is very useful for things like marketing, any type of content creation
for your website, where you need a really good image, you could go
ahead and use Midjourney for that.
Our instructor, Andrew is a Midjourney expert, and he covers
this section of the course.
Same thing with DALI.
DALI is the text to image platform right inside of ChatGPT.
And Andrew will cover exactly how to use DALI most effectively.
Again, a very good tool for website graphic creation and any type of design
that you need right inside of ChatGPT.
We'll look at some image editing.
Sometimes even AI generated images need to be edited and
Photoshop has some fantastic tools.
And then we'll look at putting all that together with things inside of
Canva, Adobe Express, Microsoft Designer, some really useful AI tools here.
Then we'll look at how to generate videos from text prompts,
Sora from OpenAI is going to get added over here.
Other tools like Runway and Google has a new one.
And we'll look at other useful AI tools in the video world too.
There are tools that create realistic looking talking avatars.
They could even clone you and turn you into an AI avatar.
One of my favorite one is called HeyGen, so we'll cover
that in detail in this section.
There's a whole bunch you could do in the world of audio, enhancing
audio, turning text into speech, using things like 11Labs.
We're going to look at different music tools.
So that's going to give you a nice overview of what the world of audio
has to offer as far as AI goes.
And we'll wrap this up with other resources.
We have well over 20 different AI courses on this platform.
So I'll give you some resources for very specific use case
after you watch this course.
And we just recently moved platforms, so there's no discussions yet, but
if you have any questions, you could go ahead and post it right over here.
And if you go back to your dashboard over here, you could access the
community page directly from here.
And you could also ask questions here.
We're going to add different spaces related to different topics on the left
side, and you could always ask your questions from here too.
My name is Saj, and I'm going to be your instructor for most of this course,
but I will have a couple of experts from other courses chiming from time to time.
When I'm talking about very specific topics that they have courses on, and
I've been teaching the latest tools in the world of tech for about seven years
or so, and I use a variety of different AI tools on a day-to-day basis.
Really while they first got released.
So for my day-to-day work, I really rely on them.
So I'm going to use that in my teaching with practical examples.
And once we're done with this course, you should have a pretty good and
fundamental understanding of generative AI as a whole, and you should be pretty
comfortable implementing some of these top AI tools, like chat GPT and mid
journey that we're going to go over in detail, and you'll have a basic
understanding of some of the other ones that I'm going to touch upon.
And then you could dive deeper after you're finished with the course to
learn some of these other tools in more detail and really benefit from them
with your personal work life day to day.
Let's jump in.
