Ooh, this might be the best find of the day.
This is so cute.
♪ Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey ♪
Hey, guys, it is Sarah with Thrifty Bitch.
I hope you guys are all doing amazing.
I'm so sorry it's been a bit since I posted a video.
Life has been crazy, and it's about to get crazier
because I'm moving in a month, but I had one free day,
and of course I had to go to the thrift store.
It's the first week in April,
and so I assume there's probably gonna be
some new spring inventory.
I really just wanted to go into the thrift store
and get inspired, see what's in there,
see if I can pick up a couple pieces
that could maybe make my outfits a little more springy.
So I just thought I'd bring you guys along,
show you what I'm finding.
Also, it's like my last two weeks with Invisalign,
so soon I will no longer have these guys.
I'm so over this Invisalign, but they're coming off soon.
Anyway, so let's just go into the Savers,
see what we can find.
Fingers crossed, there's a lot of new spring inventory,
so let's get to it.
I just walked in, and I found this really amazing table.
It's a little beaten up.
It's $14, and look at the bottom of it.
That is so beautiful.
And then I also found this gorgeous,
I guess, dining room table that is so pretty.
Look at the legs on there.
It's like, you can make it even bigger.
Guys, that is $6.
That is crazy.
I can't believe someone tried to cover
this beautiful chair up with this beige situation.
Like, look how stunning this is.
It's definitely vintage, probably from the 50s or 60s.
It didn't have room for it in my apartment,
but I hope someone brought this home,
because this was lovely.
I regret not bringing this home.
Lately, I've been obsessed with vintage ice buckets.
I haven't found the perfect one yet,
so this did not come home with me,
but I thought this was definitely a contender,
and I wanted to show it, because it was pretty stunning.
I'm unclear on whether this is a snake or a fish,
but either way, it's pretty fabulous.
There's really never enough Bob Mackie at the thrift store.
Okay, so I just ran through the entire store,
and as I suspected, I filled up the entire cart that I have.
It is, like, overflowing, so I'm gonna try on some clothes
and do a quick little edit on what I'm gonna bring home.
Let's do a quick try on.
Really quick outfit check of the day.
I'm wearing some jeans from the men's section
that I actually thrifted here way back.
A leather, kind of like, cropped blazer.
This amazing baggy Chico's coat,
and this amazing little snakeskin bag.
I took off my jacket so I could try on some of my finds.
So here is everything that I found at the thrift store,
and I'm gonna try everything on.
Just really quickly wanted to show everything on the hanger
just so we can kind of see what it looks like.
First thing I'm trying on is this linen blazer.
I guess that's what you call it.
It's this gorgeous pistachio green color.
The buttons on it are so nice.
I think this might have to be a summer staple.
I just feel like this is an easy throw-on jacket
that I could wear to work or on a walk or to the beach.
That is perfectly spring.
Ooh, this might be the best find of the day.
This is so cute.
It looks like it's hand-crocheted.
This is definitely giving that brand Love Shack fancy,
but it's the actual vintage version.
From what I can see, there aren't many stains.
There's a couple stains on here, like nothing crazy,
but this is absolutely adorable,
and it fits me like a glove.
Picture this over a long cream-colored dress,
like a slip dress or something.
Oh, God, I am obsessed.
This is definitely coming home with me.
I think I owned a version of this bolero
when I was maybe eight years old, but I still love it.
This is adorable.
I think I would wear it in a slightly different way
than I would have back in the day,
but I think this over...
Ooh, it's got a little clasp here.
Again, I think this over a little slip dress
could be so cute.
I think it's all about proportion.
This is empire waist kind of length,
so maybe if you have something that's just straight,
doesn't cut off at the waist,
I think it could work really well,
but this is really cute.
I think it might be vintage.
I looked at the tag, and it said this was made in Italy,
but I am absolutely obsessed with this little guy.
I mean, look at all the beadwork on there.
That is so cool.
I love it.
This is why I love coming to the thrift store.
You just get inspired by crazy things like this.
Obsessed.
Oh my gosh, I love this.
This is so cool.
Okay, this is a Ralph Lauren chaps denim shirt.
I just love the length of this.
I'm definitely in my men's workwear era.
I'm wearing a lot of men's clothing.
Of late, I've been doing a lot more shopping
in the men's section,
just because I feel like right now,
silhouettes are a lot more oversized and baggy,
so funny enough, the jeans I'm wearing today,
I got these in the men's section.
They're men's Levi's.
I got them here at the ZigZag Savers years ago,
but I found this denim shirt here in the men's section.
It's chaps for Ralph Lauren.
You can see the little crown on it,
but yeah, I'm just obsessed with this.
It's perfectly worn in.
It is so soft, but it's thick.
It's that thickness that you can't find anymore,
but yeah, this looks super cool.
I'm just really into the denim on denim look,
so I'm curious to hear what you guys think,
but love this.
Also, if anyone's curious,
I picked up this necklace at Savers way back
and separately picked up this little charm,
and I just threw it on there.
That looked kind of cool.
Let me know what you guys think.
This is a butter yellow sweater that I found.
On camera, this is raining a bit more neon yellow,
but on me, it's the perfect butter yellow color
that everyone is wearing.
It's kind of hard to tell,
but this actually came with a little safety pin
that's also wrapped in the same material as the sweater,
so this is absolutely adorable.
It's 100% cotton,
and I love that you can use the safety pin
and kind of make it a bit tighter,
so I made this a little bit more fitted,
but you can also just leave it open or wear it flowy,
but I think this is absolutely adorable.
I will probably bring this home
because I feel like someone will want this,
so I will probably drop this in my Etsy shop
at some point whenever I get around
to being able to actually photograph things.
I found this adorable little cardigan.
I'm about to try it on.
I'm really hoping this reads more like sexy 90s
than grandma, so let's pop it on
and see what it actually looks like on.
I'm so excited.
This cardigan ended up looking as cute
as I was hoping it would.
It's like the perfect cropped length on me.
Like, I'm very petite, but perfectly cropped.
I love this little floral situation here.
I just feel so cute in this,
and I feel like this could be really fun
with cowboy boots or some kind of juxtaposition
or kind of like how it is actually now,
where it's sort of like a more worn-in pair of jeans
and this little fun, girly, frilly top.
I just love kind of mixing styles together, so.
This will probably come home.
This is really adorable.
Here's a closeup on the flowers.
I'm not sure how to feel about this.
I saw this in the cardigan section,
thought it was super interesting.
It is 100% silk, and it said it's made in Thailand,
so very White Lotus.
But yeah, I don't know exactly what occasion
I would wear this for.
I mean, I kind of like it,
but I'm also not sure if this is something
that I would actually pull out of my closet and wear often.
I don't know, it's very interesting.
Probably handmade, I'm guessing,
but yeah, this is a hard maybe.
I don't know.
This is one of the coolest things I've ever found.
It is an amazing blazer with embellishment on it.
It's missing a button or two, and it is not wool,
which I typically tend to wear 100% wool items,
but I might be able to make an exception for this piece,
because it's pretty cool.
Okay, final verdict on the blazer is I think I love it.
I think I'm gonna bring this home.
Okay, when I saw this,
I thought there was an 80% chance
that it would look really weird,
and that is confirmed, but hear me out.
Like, if this were tailored and actually fit me,
I think this is the silhouette it is supposed to look like,
and I'm actually kind of into the neckline.
But yeah, it's definitely not my size,
but the color on this is gorgeous,
and I think-
That looks good too.
Oh, thank you!
The color on this is gorgeous,
and I think on the right person,
and if it were fitted a bit,
the way that these lines go,
I think they're very accentuating to the female form,
so I think this could be a really lovely top,
just not for me.
I found vintage today, and believe it or not,
I've actually found this exact same dress
in a different color.
This is not 100% cotton or wool or silk.
I love this dress,
I just don't think this is exactly my style.
I have sold literally this exact dress in my shop,
but I'm just kind of on like a kick
where I don't really want to sell anything
unless I would actually wear it,
because it's like a poly blend.
I don't know if I'd feel comfortable
putting this in my shop,
but it is real vintage,
so I might bring this home for my Etsy shop, not sure,
but it is really beautiful color-wise.
I quickly just popped into the jewelry section,
and I found this really interesting necklace.
It is a seashell on a chain of more shells,
so I thought I'd just pop it on really quickly
and show you what it looks like.
I see potential, I don't think as is I would wear it,
but I think with a minor tweak or two,
this might be something that could be a staple for summer.
Okay, so I took the necklace,
and I made it more of a choker,
and I really like it this length.
I do not like it like full length necessarily.
I mean, I don't hate it like this,
but I just don't know if I would necessarily wear it
a bunch, because it doesn't like stay,
but I think if I could somehow just,
you know, make it shorter like that,
I could definitely see myself wearing this.
Okay, I'm almost at the end
of my little thrift find haul here,
but just wanted to quickly show
that I found a pair of Vintage Gap.
That doesn't feel quite right saying that,
but I think these are like technically vintage.
They're 100% cotton.
This is the logo on the back.
I assume these are probably from maybe like late 90s,
but yeah, they're 100% cotton,
like really thick, good cotton,
and I did the neck test where I wrapped this around my neck,
and I think these would fit,
so I will probably bring these home,
because they are only 10 bucks.
I found this nightgown.
I love, love, love the colors in it.
I quickly tried it on.
It does not fit, and it's kind of falling apart,
like there's a couple of loose strings on it,
but I just wanted to show it,
because I thought it was so gorgeous,
and I just love a little vintage nightgown to sleep in,
so not for me, but super cute.
I also found this pristine periwinkle colored dress.
The main reason I grabbed this
is because I was obsessed with the beading on it.
Let me show you really quickly what it looks like up close.
Look at that.
Isn't that gorgeous?
Seems to be in pretty good condition.
I think this is vintage.
It's R&R Richards.
Never heard of that brand before,
but really lovely dress.
I think I'm gonna leave this here,
but love the color and the vibes of this.
I love this button-down,
but it is missing one of its buttons,
so this will be staying here at the thrift store,
so hopefully someone will pick this up and love it.
Ooh, do I get this?
I found this little vintage nightgown or slip,
whatever you want to call this.
It's really cute.
It's not my size.
That's $7, so I think I'm gonna leave this here,
but really adorable.
Quickly wanted to show that I found
some vintage Victoria's Secret.
Sad thing is that it's ripped.
I could probably fix that,
but I just don't really have the patience to,
but yeah, it's like size medium.
Really adorable.
Sad.
I ended up grabbing this Martha Stewart cookbook,
this crochet cardigan, the jeans,
and the chambray shirt, and that's it.
Okay, I'm back in my car.
That was such a fun little thrifting trip.
I'm so glad that I popped out and got to go to Savers.
I'm really happy with just finding a couple of core pieces
that I think I'm gonna wear a lot.
To me, today was a success.
