We also walk away seeing us in a sisterhood and that we have more in common than not in many ways. We think of stitches and stitching lives. We actually choose our own way to draw our own characters and how to create life. You have to believe, you have to have faith. Make movies and be yourself. Couture, in French, it means stitches. It's not the couture, I think, in someone's mind. So stitches, when you think of our surgeries, our bodies, the way our lives and stories are sewn together, you understand what the film is. And I think when it comes to fashion itself, I think it's a very compassionate and fair look at fashion. It's not a shallow or judgmental or critical look. I think it sheds a lovely light on certain aspects that are often kept in a very shallow place in discussion. So I'm very happy for that. We have these three women who meet each other randomly during the fashion week and it shows just three women with their vulnerabilities during this crazy time of Paris. Yes, because often it's a very busy time where everybody just flutters around and you feel like it's one big business where no fragility is allowed. Whatever you're going for, you can always chase it and all your dreams are valid. At the same time, I just wanted to inspire African girls because my story is very similar to so many other girls' stories from where I'm from. So getting the chance and the platform to tell this story blesses me a lot and it gives me hope for what lies ahead because I feel like I'm a voice for the people who are not very well heard.
