Is this the most beautiful lake in Washington? I came away from this 2-day backpacking trip in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness thinking that this might just be the most beautiful lakes that I've seen in Washington. The turquoise water of Jade Lake with its surrounding mountains are a photographers dream. I did this trip in mid-July when the wildflowers were peaking and the accompanying bees and butterflies let me film them while they went about their business. Always a great experience to be in nature and feel connected to the world around us.
