This antique flower vase is considered a treasure of Turkey.
The vase is now being preserved at the Topkapi Saray Royal Museum in Istanbul,
where it is famous for a collection of well-known and rare artisans of Asia.
Since it was displayed at this museum, the vase has always been known as a Chinese item.
Until 1977, the most famous artist of Southeast Asian art at that time was Roxana Brown,
who translated about 13 Chinese characters on the vase.
The origin of the vase has just been identified.
The Banyan flower vase is the 8th flower vase in the 15th century.
The founder was a carpenter.
Nam Sach Chau is the name of Nam Sach Chau, which is now known as Nam Sach District,
the capital of Hai Duong province of Vietnam.
Since then, the vase has been named as An Nam vase, meaning the vase of Vietnam.
Before the 1980s, no one in Hai Duong province knew that there was a carpenter in this area.
And of course, they did not know that their ancestors had created an ancient flower vase,
which has been famous in the world since the 15th century.
What has awakened a high-altitude vase that has slept for nearly 500 years in this area?
The story began in 1980 with a letter from a Japanese diplomat to the leader of Hai Duong province at that time.
As far as I know, the Turkish Museum still preserves a Vietnamese vase.
The name of the vase is written in Korean, which means
In 1450, a monk named Bui Thi Huy in Nam Sach Chau drew a painting on the vase.
What was Bui Thi Huy like?
To answer that question, it took many years.
According to the request of the letter, the Tinh Museum and the Tang Ba Hoang Ancient Museum
were assigned to search for the origin of the vase.
On August 1, 1983, I went there.
I found a lot of flower vases from Mr. Bang's family.
A high-class art center was exposed right at Nam Sach Chau.
All kinds of vases were exposed in the cultural area,
from 50 cm to 2 m deep, and were taken back to the museum in the 1990s.
Thanks to the disciples on the role of the vase in Turkey,
the Turkish Museum has been able to find all kinds of vases,
trees, vases, sculptures, and products.
Since then, we have discovered a series of vases from the 15th century right at Nam Sach Chau.
The problem now is to find out who is the owner of the vase.
There is only one name, Bui Thi Huy, in the Turkish vase,
which was identified in 1450.
There is evidence that Bui Thi Huy was the artist who drew this vase.
It is said that Bui Thi Huy, born in 1420,
was a great sculptor in Nam Sach, now in Hai Duong province.
She was the granddaughter of Bui Quoc Hung, the founder of the Le dynasty.
Bui Thi Huy was a talented, smart woman who knew martial arts,
and was also talented in writing and drawing.
She was married to the master of Chu Trang vase,
which is now the Chu Dao vase, and is very famous.
This time, we will go further south by boat.
We will be back in a few months.
Gia Ngo has prepared 20,000 dishes.
He will leave tomorrow morning.
Stay at home and take care.
Six months have passed.
Why hasn't he come back yet?
After three years of marriage,
Bui Thi Huy agreed to remarry another man,
Dang Phuc.
Bui Thi Huy and Dang Phuc
continued to make high-quality wood to contribute to the court
and sell to merchants in and out of the country.
With an extraordinary personality,
Bui Thi Huy directly led many large shipments across the sea
to bring her craft to the West.
Bui Thi Huy passed away in 1499.
She was remembered as an artist,
a businessman, and a symbol of Vietnam in the 15th century.
Whether Bui Thi Huy was involved or not,
I think we need to find out more about her.
I think it's possible that it was done by the court,
not by the people.
Because with this kind of skill,
only the court can gather the best craftsmen in the country.
It's possible.
The story of the person who created this vase is not simple.
The last four words, Bui Thi Huy But,
in a series of 13 Chinese characters on the vase,
led to contradictions in the explanation of the person who created the vase.
Another school does not believe that these four words mean Bui Thi Huy writes or draws.
From Huy But, if they are next to each other, it means to play.
According to this explanation,
Bui Thi Huy But only means an artist who draws.
There is no artist named Bui Thi Huy.
I don't believe it.
I still follow the trend of drawing.
Our opinion is that Bui Thi Huy is real.
Because of that, we make a temple here.
There are many contradictions in history.
I think it's Bui Thi Huy,
but others think it's someone else.
I think there is only one truth.
Until now, both opinions have not been approved.
After a lot of arguments,
is the author of the vase a person named Bui Thi Huy,
but people still think that she is the first female businessman in Vietnam?
We went to Nam Sach District, Hai Duong Province,
which is Chau Nam Sach, as the theme of the vase.
So how did the An Nam vase go from Chau Nam Sach to Turkey?
What is the origin of the 15th-century ceramic product?
Five centuries have passed.
Does this land still retain any traces to answer those questions?
