Annyeong!
So, this time, as I said before, meron po tayong dalawang klaseng Korean numbers.
But for this time, we're going to study about Sino-Korean numbers.
So, let's go!
And then, sa petsa.
And then, sa mga numbers, ay yung mga cellphone numbers.
Okay.
So, pagka bigger numbers, more than 100, dito po natin ginagamit ang Sino-Korean numbers.
So, let's start.
Il
I
Sam
Okay.
Okay.
What does sam mean?
Three layers.
Sam.
Okay.
So, remember, sam is three.
Sa
O
Yuk
Chil
Pal
Gu
Sip
Okay.
This is all the 10 Sino-Korean numbers.
Actually, it's just the same pattern in native Korean numbers.
So, once you have memorized these 10, magiging madali na lang po yung mga ibang numbers.
So, what if tapos na po tayo sa 10?
And we're gonna move to 11.
So, after ng 10, yung sound value nya is sip.
Right?
So, sip plus 1 is sip il.
Okay.
12 is sip il.
Sip sam.
And so and so forth.
19 sip ku.
Paano po yung 20?
Okay.
Ang 20 naman po ay madali lang.
Vice versa.
And then yung 10 place value.
So, 2 is e.
And then yung place value nya is 10.
So, e, sip is 20.
So, kadalasan po ay marami pong nalilito dito.
Pero actually, napakadali lang po.
So, kanina, after po ng 10, when we move to 11,
nauuna po yung place value and then yung number.
Pero pagka naging 20 na, vice versa lang.
Nauuna po yung number and then yung place value.
So, 2 plus 10.
Right?
So, sip.
So, e, sip.
30.
3 plus 10.
30.
40.
4 plus 10.
40.
50.
60.
70.
80.
90.
What is 10?
Ah, sorry.
What is 100?
So, 100 is pek.
So, pek and then yung 1 to 99 is just the same like what we studied a while ago.
Now, pagkababasahin po natin yung 101 pek il, pek i.
Okay?
And so and so forth.
Okay?
What about 200?
Just the same pattern.
Mauna po yung number.
2 is i.
And then yung place value nya is 100 na.
So, ang kagamitin po natin ay pek.
So, i, pek.
Sam, pek.
Sa, pek.
O, pek.
Yuk, pek.
Chil, pek.
Pal, pek.
Ku, pek.
And then, 1000 is chan.
But in Korea, it's different.
Ang 10,000 po ay meron pong specific name.
So, tapos na po tayo sa 1000, right?
Ang 10,000 po ay man.
Okay?
What about 100,000?
100 is 10 plus yung place value.
10, man.
Yung 1,000,000 is 1, pek.
100 plus the place value.
10, man.
1,000,000.
And then, 100,000,000 is 0.
So, okay.
So, 10,000,000, 100,000, 1,000,000, 0.
Okay?
So, for example, ang pera na meron sa Korea na papel na with the lowest value is yung 1,000 won.
So, how do we read this?
How do we say this?
20 pesos, 30 pesos.
Sa Korea po ay won.
So, 1,000 won.
What is 1,000?
1,000 won.
2,000 won?
1,000 won.
3,000 won.
Okay?
Okay?
Dito po natin kinagamit yung Sino-Korean numbers.
And also, yung cellphone number.
Yung mga digits.
Someone asked, what is your phone number?
Sa Philippines, as far as I know, is 090.
Tayo nag-start diba?
Or 09.
Hindi ko na po masyadong maalala.
Anyway, we start by 09.
But in Korea, we have two kinds of meaning.
Ang isa po ay, bola.
And then, ang isa po ay, zero.
Actually, it's not only the name.
It's not only the meaning that we have.
There are so many, several meanings of this.
It depends on the sentence that we use.
But of course, for today, itong dalawang muna yung pag-aanalan natin.
Kasi pagka marami, malilito na po tayo.
Okay.
So, 010.
Zero, one, zero.
My number is secret.
Okay.
My number is 010-8373-7807.
Yung mga digit.
Yung address po natin.
This is the time that we use.
The time.
This is the time that we use.
The Sino-Korean.
And also, when we use the minute.
So, for example, 10 minutes.
Sip.
Ano yung minute?
Pun.
Sip pun.
Isip pun.
Samsip pun.
Okay.
When we are counting the time.
Kasi pagka hours, ginagamitin po natin yung native.
But when it comes to minutes, we use the Sino.
So, why do we use two kinds of number when we are reading the same time?
So, what else do we have?
Pagka ginagamitin po natin itong Sino-Korean number.
So, when we are asking for the date also.
So, for example, my birthday is November.
So, ang November sa Korea po ay, ang months po namin is Wol.
Okay.
And then, we count our months according to the number.
So, since we have 12 months in a year.
So, 1 to 12.
So, if January is the first month, that is the 1.
February is 2.
March is 3.
So, what is 1?
Il.
What is month?
Wol.
So, Il, Wol.
I Wol.
Sam Wol.
So, what is November?
November is second to the last month of the year.
So, that is 11.
So, what is 11?
Got it?
Madaling lang po ba?
And then, I am November 7.
So, 7 is Chil.
Chil lang.
So, Sip Il Wol Chil.
Ano po yung day?
Il.
Chil Il.
Sip Il Wol Chil Il.
So, this is how we use the Sino-Korean numbers.
So, in our next topic, I must pag-aralan po natin in specific and detail how we use these numbers.
How we use the Korean native and the Sino-Korean numbers.
