EU officials confirm that the navigation system on a plane carrying the European Commission president was jammed. The plane reported interference with its GPS, radar and other tools before landing safely. Entity's international correspondent Ariane Postar has more. They suspect that this was due to blatant interference by Russia. The European Commission says Bulgarian authorities suspect that Russia is behind a recent plane jamming incident. European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen was heading to Bulgaria on Sunday when her plane's navigation system was reportedly blocked. The EU says the plane was unable to use GPS, radar, direction finders and more while approaching the airport to land. We are of course aware and used to somehow to the threats and intimidations that are regular components of Russia's hostile behaviour.
