Archery Targets at Oranco Bowmen | January 2022
What's up everyone welcome back to the channel. Today we're in Chino Hills at Orenco Bowman.
I'm gonna brush off the dust on the hunting bows. I haven't shot this thing since the moose hunt in
September. We've got a pig hunt coming up in March so just want to make sure everything's still good
nothing moved nothing got bombed in the airplane. We're going to be shooting the EVO EVL 34 from
PSE. I got the black gold single pin sight. I got ten thousands pin on there. The 19 was just a
too bright for me. Ramrod stabilizers. 10 inch back bar. I just got this 15 inch front bar so
I'm curious to see how that goes. Hamski trinity rest. We got the rip TKO victory arrows.
So we're going to be starting off today shooting 80 yards. We'll see how we do.
This is a pretty good little crosswind we got today. It's a decent excuse right there. 50 yards.
You seem to be hitting just a bit low on every single shot. Let's see if that does it. Shoot 36.
All right so I just wanted to quickly address some of the excuses that are gonna be said today.
As Travis notified you all this is the first time he was shooting the hunting bow since the
the moose hunt which I think was September. So you'll hear excuses probably like
oh my bar is way different or oh this bow's heavy. You know that the poundage is heavier.
Things like that so just keep an eye out. Anyways 45. I hope you guys can see the wind that I gotta
I was shooting a little bit low on everything so I gave the sight four clicks down. Try to remedy
that. Looks like it did fix it. I don't want to make too many adjustments just because it is a
little bit windy today. So I don't know if some of it's me or some of it's the wind. So we'll have to
we'll have to fine-tune this thing when it's a nice calm day out.
So we'll shoot 45 yards at a pheasant. We'll do one arrow and we'll see if we can hit him in the head.
So if you guys are ever interested in archery and you're in the SoCal area
consider becoming a member here at Aranco. They constantly have three roving ranges, 14 targets,
they have the hunter round, field round, and animal round set up. They got valleys,
they got the mountain course, they got all kinds of different terrain changes. So it's a really
good thing to get out here and get some shots out of your bow and really challenge yourself.
So the target's the first valley course. They start over here, target number one,
goes all the way out to bear valley to target 14. Those are going to be your first round of
roving ranges. Then your second round starts at the back of bear valley, comes up over this hill,
it zigzags back and forth until you get to the main car bridge right here. The third round starts
up on the hill, it goes up and over and it wraps around and comes back down. 65 yards,
this episode everyone. Hope you guys liked it. Be sure to like and subscribe if you like this
kind of stuff that we're putting out. Ryan and I are planning on doing a lot more of this type of
content so be sure to like and then also comment down below if you have anything that you guys
want to see specifically and we'll try to get it out there and get some content of it.
