Unit 5: Food
Lesson 1: Fruits
This unit focuses on food. In this first lesson, which takes place in a single session, the students will learn to recognize and name six fruits: an apple, an orange, grapes, a banana, a pear, and blueberries. They will also learn to say whether they like or dislike a fruit, and whether it is good or not good.
Lesson 2: What Color?
The second lesson, which will take place over two sessions, will allow them to recognize and name six fruits and their colors: a red apple, a green pear, a yellow banana, an orange orange, purple grapes, and blue blueberries. They will also be able to formulate short sentences.
Lesson 3: Fruit Salad
In the third lesson, which will take place over two sessions, the students will be encouraged to recognize and name the different steps in the fruit salad recipe.
Lesson 4: Bon Appétit!
In the fourth lesson, which will take place over two sessions, the children will discover the story "Bon Appétit!" and will use everything they have learned in the previous lessons to understand the story.
