Hollywood & Burbank Fun with The West Coast Crew!!! - Checking Out Places Walt Disney Visited - 2019

hey guys this is Jenna at Vail with resort TV 1 and we're gonna let Dale drive so we're on the 405 yes we've just made it to California you guys are so excited we're bit chilly as Floridian Floridians are just a bit chilly but it's gonna warm up so we're excited and yeah I probably had about I don't know two maybe three hours of sleep combined with last night and on the plane because we did the very first Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween party last night which was so much fun so much fun but yeah now it's time for Dale and I his vacation so we're here in California just got our rental car and we're on our way to our hotel in Burbank and yeah we're gonna go have some fun and and we're gonna meet some friends at our hotel so stay tuned to see who we're meeting hope you guys enjoy the video traffic traffic which I mean we're used to it not Florida as well but quite a bit more traffic right now here it's a little overcast but it's supposed to get sunny [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so we're in Burbank this with a lot of the studios are ads yep I think there's one over here I couldn't tell which one it was Bob Hope Drive though check out the mountain in the background it's a little hazy still but see how we're in Burbank now they were getting close to our hotel over here for one night the Safari Inn staying one night here in Burbank and then heading up to Central California this is an old hotel I think it was built back in the 1920s I ran yeah they've remodeled it he's produced yeah they had a couple movies made here and the one I saw when I was looking it up was true romance if you've heard of that one 1993 so they have some posters here with some of the movies that were filmed here so Lethal Weapon 3 [Music] I'm not sure all these were filled maybe Parenthood closers Apollo 13 Six Feet Under oh look at that one The Wallflowers that's cool there's true romance so I got I guess they all were yeah look okay so we made it here and one of our first stops actually the first stop guess where it's at which obviously she's holding it but yes we are at Starbucks which is okay because she was up late last night very little sleep and I'm much sleep on the plane and we both needed some coffee we were back at the hotel after Starbuck and look who we found at our hotel wait wait wait what screw we're so excited thanks for coming out to hang out with us guys we're so excited were gonna go check out some of the studio Lots not in the Lots just around the Lots and then we're gonna go to Hollywood and have some fun Hey so we are driving by the Disney studio can you guys see the Hidden Mickeys in the sense there is one of the entrances studio so this is all the Walt Disney studio their stage seven it's not the backside of water oh there's the water tower that's cool let's get up there there's long mickey's on their signs for the game there's the Nicky sorcerer his hat there another entrance driving by the WB studio now this is where a lot of the shows are at obviously also to spa a Harry Potter castle WB soundstages the mountains in the background stages there's the Big Bang Theory it's castle again MBA MBC Cydia MBA [Music] stages so we're heading into Griffith Park where Walt Disney used to take his daughters and go to the merry-go-round so we're gonna go see if we can find the merry-go-round so we're gonna come check out Walt Disney's Carrollwood train we've kind of seen that right which is one of his old backyard trains that he used to have and it's in this barn here but it's closed it's only open on Sunday so if you guys are coming out here make sure you plan accordingly only on Sundays here's a little bit better shot of the barn really can't see much of it though but the backside of it everything the backside they were coming up on the carousel that Walt Disney took his daughters to [Music] [Music] [Music] check this out halt Diana and Sharon [Music] we're gonna go ride the carousel you guys [Music] let's go you guys ready yeah we're ready [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay so how was that compared to the one at Walt Disney World [Music] [Music] it was a long ride yeah they would need safety harnesses at Walt Disney World at going at that race alright guys so we are continuing our tour around Burbank and we're stopping here at this restaurant behind us and it's called Tam O'Shanter and what disease to eat here all the time so this is super close to the Walt Disney World studio just down the street here and he has his own table here and everything so we're excited to go in check it out [Music] you [Music] okay so we're sitting at this table and Walt Disney's table table the number 31 is right here just a little sign here this was a favorite spot of Walt Disney's Imagineers so cool I love it [Music] in control all right so Andrew was pointing out the tea service over here but as you can note from the description you can see from the description it actually contains no teeth so there's your morning everybody know what they want to get yeah yes very cool atmosphere in here there's a big it's very big there's several rooms there's another room back in there there is that does that go upstairs another room maybe there was one as we first came in there's another one behind [Music] together totally agree yeah so our food came I got the burger with fries so it's pretty good and Dale you got the competition chips with a side of slaw it looks delicious it smells really good yeah you had smell-a-vision it would be great yeah I know we need to invent that good Forsman favorite burger the burger so we can't wait to get these I've tried getting our pictures before we go leave a little outdoor patio here as well check out this really cool fireplace over here fun to hang out over here alright guys so we had so much fun at the restaurant behind us guys help me out tam-o-shanter for some reason I can't say the name I don't know why but it was really good really really good food really cool atmosphere and it was just neat sitting right next to a Walt Disney's old table and had a little plaque there a sign they have pictures really cool what do you guys think oh it's fun isn't it little experience it's nice little nice little place it didn't feel like hustle the bustle and it felt like tucked away like a little nook agree discovered something cool agree and lots of food option for everybody to history yeah and we all enjoyed our food I love my hamburger who does great fish and chips yep so we would definitely recommend it you guys are in the Burbank area it's right next to the Walt Disney Studios not far so yeah give it a try so we're heading up the hills here and we're gonna go see if we can find one of Walt Disney's old homes imagine cover down Hey look it has a spire on it what I'm just saying I don't know bring it this the one we this driveway so we think it's this one up here can't see a whole lot of it that's that way have our houses are you [Music] so we're heading up to the Griffith Observatory and as we're going up we're going through this tunnel that they found back to the future not much of a view right now the bus in front of this come on boss go 80 miles so we couldn't make it up to the observatory right now there was no parking but we pulled off for this beautiful view over here of downtown LA and this is where we were wanting to go check out the view from up here from the Griffith Observatory but parking was full it is a Saturday so plan accordingly if you're coming who keen was there's not a lot of parking it's $10 an hour and it was all completely full so am I trying to come back another time maybe later tonight her great guys so we are still in Burbank and we're continuing our little tour around Burbank we're gonna head into this restaurant behind us and it's called tam o Shanter Thank You victor Shanter all right so we had a really good experience at the Tom oh they're behind us okay to chat all right all right guys well that is it for part one of our fun Hollywood and Burbank day that we had with our West Coast crew we had so much fun checking out the carousel different sites around Hollywood and of course you know tam-o-shanter I think I said it right this time I don't know if I did so I don't know what it is with that name I just can't say it but anyways
