And in your fingers. In and out, in and out, in and out. Tickles. Tickles. Down your side,
down your leg, and we're done. Oh, oh, look, it's me. Hello, I'm Tao. Hello, I'm Mia, and today
we're tracing the outlines of our bodies. You can see the shape of my body here. These are my arms
and fingers. Look, there's my pinky, which is smaller than my big pointing finger. I'll just
finish my face. And this is the outline of my body. As you can see, we've got my big head here
with my little ears and my neck, which connects to the rest of my body. I think something might
be missing from our body shapes, Mia. Do you know what it is? That's right, our clothes.
We could use this paint to colour in our clothes. Great idea. Well, smocks on, I wonder what colour
of paint I'm going to use first. Well, today I'm wearing blue pants, so I'll paint the bottom half
of my body blue. Well, I'm thinking I might use blue paint for my pants too. Well, let's get painting.
Everybody painting, painting, painting. Everybody painting, just like this. Everybody painting, painting, painting.
Everybody painting, just like this. There we go, lovely blue pants. Hang on, what about our t-shirts?
Of course. Well, I'm going to paint myself a red t-shirt today. I think I'll make my t-shirt yellow.
More painting.
Everybody painting, painting, painting. Everybody painting, just like this. Everybody painting, painting, painting.
Everybody painting, just like this. There we go, we have one yellow t-shirt and one red t-shirt.
Oh, one moment, Mia, we forgot to paint our hair. Well, that is a hairy good idea, Tao.
Well, my hair is brown and kind of short, so I'm going to paint it brown. Let's see.
Oh, swish, swish. I forgot my beard, look.
Oh, look at that. And my hair is long and black, so I'm going to use this black paint over here.
Okay, let's do some long black hair, just like that. The outlines of our bodies are all dressed up.
And everybody has a body and our bodies can do very different things. Should we see what our
bodies can do? Come on, you two. Everybody's got a body, let's see what our bodies can do.
Everybody's got a body, let's see what our bodies can do. First, a big stretch.
Push your hands up and down.
Bend them in and out.
And shake them all around. Everybody's got a body, let's see what your bodies can do.
Everybody's got a body, let's see what your bodies can do. Eyebrows this time. Put your eyebrows up.
Push them up and down. Crunch them nice and tight.
And wiggle them all around. Everybody's got a body, let's see what our bodies can do.
Everybody's got a body, let's see what our bodies can do. Oh, it's fun to stretch and shake our bodies.
And I can wriggle my little pinky finger here, like that. Can you wriggle your pinky finger?
Wriggle, wriggle. But it's not as long as my pointer finger, which I can waggle too. Waggle, waggle.
Well, I've got a leg and I can shake it all around. Shake, shake, shake. And my leg is bigger
than my neck, which holds up my head. Ah yes, a very important job, Teo. Hello, I'm Matt. And I'm Emma.
Hello, we're painting on Play School today. I'm painting a small box with a small sponge.
Small splodgy, spongy splotches. Splodge, splodge, splodge. And I'm using this big box and a big
stencil to paint it. Have you ever painted using a stencil before? This one has lots of big squares.
All right, now lay it down flat on the box and paint over the top like this.
Roly-poly, roly-poly, roly-poly roll. Time to see what happens when I lift the stencil up. You ready?
Lots of painted squares. Ah, they kind of look like windows. Yes, windows on a building in the city.
Have you ever been to the city before and seen lots of tall buildings? Okay, I'm going to paint
a smaller building this time. Does this box look smaller than that box? No. How about this box?
Okay, and I'm going to need a smaller stencil. Perfect, and I'm going to paint a bigger box
with a bigger sponge. So, big and small. Okay, you ready to paint? Here we go.
Hey, hey, hey, it's a painting kind of day. Splodge, splat all around.
Roll, roll up and down. Hey, hey, hey, it's a painting kind of day. Splodge, splodge, splodge.
So, big splodges and small splodges. Big painted squares and small painted squares.
Lots of buildings in the city. Oh, and a lovely day for a walk. It sure is. Come on.
I'm walking in the city. I'm walking down the street. I'm walking in the city. Oh, sorry. Making
music with my feet. I'm tapping with my shoes and I sing this little song. I'm a tap, tap, tap, tap,
along. Places to be. People are so busy in the city. Come on, let's go a little bit faster. Okay,
here we go. I'm walking in the city. I'm walking down the street. I'm walking in the city. Making
music with my feet. I'm tapping with my shoes and I sing this little song. I'm a tap, tap, tap,
tap, tapping. I'm a tap, tap, tap, tap, tapping. I'm a tap, tap, tap, tap, tapping along.
Hello, I'm Rachel. And some more sand here. Hello, I'm Luke. We're painting a mural of the
outback in play school today. Have you ever been to the outback? There's lots of different kinds
of outback, but our outback in the mural is a very dry place. With lots of hot orange desert sand
and a thirsty dry creek bed without any water. And here is a big boa tree. This big trunk is
where it stores the water. And a boa tree only has one, two, three branches. Well, this one
is big. This one is bigger. And this one is the biggest. A boa tree has many branches,
more than three. Let's add some more. This one will be the biggest.
And this one is small. This one is smaller. Oh, and this one is the smallest.
Crash. Oh, here comes a big rain cloud.
Rain is falling. It is falling. Pitter, patter, pitter, patter. Rain is falling down.
Oh, the rain is getting heavier. It's filling the dry creek bed with water. And
there's some big white flowers growing on the boa tree.
Rain is falling down. Rain is falling down. Pitter, patter, pitter, patter. Rain is falling down.
Can you see all the big beautiful white flowers? Wow, that was a big rainstorm.
Another boat here. It just needs a sail. Have you ever been sailing on a boat?
A sailboat has a tall mast that the sail attaches to. This chopstick will make a great mast.
I'm going to use this paper for a sail. Poke the chopstick through this hole
and back out through the other. A sail. Now, use this tack to stick the mast into the boat.
There. One little sailboat. The SS Mini. On behalf of everyone here today, I'd like to
declare this sailboat ready to sail. I hope it floats. Let's find out. Yes. Oh, phew. Oh,
it just needs a strong breeze to sail off into the sunset. Honk, honk. Out of the way because
here comes an even bigger boat. The SS Tubby. Honk, honk. Uh-oh, the boat's engine is causing
big waves. Well, the SS Tubby is a tugboat, which means it needs a really big engine to pull even
bigger boats out of the harbour. Well, I'm sure the SS Mini can keep up and go just as fast as
the tugboat with a strong breeze. Maybe it can, Michelle. Why don't we have a race? First boat
to the other side. You're on. Which boat do you think will win, big or small? On your marks,
get set, go. And they're off and racing. Oh, and the big tugboat is steaming ahead.
But the little sailboat is coming up strong. I think it just needs a bigger wind. Here goes.
Oh, I think the SS Tubby has got this one, don't you? Not so fast. The SS Mini is making up ground.
Oh, no. The SS Tubby's got engine problems. She's really slowed down.
Time to make a move. Here comes a strong breeze. Oh, and yes, the SS Mini has won.
Well, I guess the SS Tubby is just going to have to settle for second place.
Now, wasn't your day the SS Mini one today? Have you ever seen little boats sailing on the sea?
One big tugboat. One little sailboat. Can you be a little boat out on the sea?
Come on. Two little boats out on the sea, all as calm as calm can be.
Gently the wind begins to blow. Two little boats rock to and fro. Loudly the wind begins to shout.
Two little boats are tossed about. On is the wind, the storm, the rain. Two little boats sail on again.
Big brown circle. Hello, I'm Leah. We're painting in the garden in play school today
and I'm painting a big tall sunflower. And I'm painting a small dainty daisy. Hello, I'm Luke.
One big brown centre to match the brown centre of the big tall sunflower.
Now, for the big petals. Hmm, this large brush is perfect.
Um, what colour do I need for the petals? Oh, yellow, just like me. I'm painting some
petals too. But I'm painting teeny tiny petals using this small thin brush.
Yellow petals coming up. Some big and some small.
A petal for you. A petal for me. Petals la-di-da and petals la-di-dee. There's a petal over here
and a petal over there. Petals, petals, petals, petals, petals everywhere.
Oh, these beautiful flowers are looking beautiful. I've almost finished my petals. Yeah, keep going
Leah. Oh, just one big. Looking great. One more big yellow petal for the sunflower. Perfect. Yeah,
but there is something missing around about here. Do you know what it is? Oh, I know. A stem
and leaves. We'll both need green for that. So, I'll use this big brush for the sunflower's big
stem and leaves. And I'll use this brush too. Here we go. Oh, wait there. This brush is too
big for my flower. Luke, how about you use this small brush for the slender daisy stems? Perfect.
There's a stem for you. A stem for me. Stem la-di-da and stems la-di-dee. There's leaves over here
and leaves over there. Leaves, leaves, leaves, leaves, leaves everywhere.
Our paintings of these beautiful flowers are awesome. Okay, both yellow petals and a green
stem and leaves, but some, one is big and one is small. Do you like to paint outside or in the
Maybe you like to paint bees buzzing around and sloping up the nectar in the garden.
Come on, you can buzz around the garden too.
There's a bumblebee, a honeybee, getting the honey for you and me. Doing it, doing it,
doing it, doing it. Buzzing around, helping the garden grow. Do you want to keep buzzing like a bee?
