About the composers:
Georg Philipp Telemann (1681–1767) was a German Baroque composer known for being one of the most prolific in music history. Mostly self-taught, he worked in cities like Leipzig, Frankfurt, and Hamburg. He wrote thousands of works, including orchestral suites, church music, and chamber pieces. Popular in his time, he was admired by both Bach and Handel.
George Frideric Handel (1685–1759) was a German-born composer who spent most of his career in England. A major figure of the Baroque era, he's best known for his oratorio Messiah, operas, and orchestral works like Water Music. He blended German, Italian, and English styles and remains one of the most celebrated composers in Western music.
