Unit 4: Animals
Lesson 1: Animals
This unit focuses on animals. In this first lesson, which takes place in a single session, the students will learn to recognize and name six animals: a mouse, a bird, a fish, a cat, a rabbit, and a turtle.
Lesson 2: What Color?
The second lesson, which will take place over two sessions, will allow them to recognize and name six colors: three already known (blue, yellow, red) and three new ones (black, white, green), and to associate them with animals in order to create groups of words (a blue bird) and sentences (Lulu is a green turtle).
Lesson 3: Walk, Fly, Swim
In the third lesson, which will take place over two sessions, the students will be encouraged to imitate an animal and say how it moves (I swim, I fly, I walk or... I sleep).
Lesson 4: What Are You?
In the fourth lesson, which will take place over two sessions, the students will discover the story "What Are You?" They will use everything they have learned in the previous lessons to understand the story.
