#Longines#Trifecta The Legend Diver 39mm white dial is the latest variation of the Legend Diver line, ready for summer 2025. It features a matte white dial combined with deep black indices and letters, creating a high contrast for easy timekeeping
The design retains the classic look inspired by the 1959 “supercompressor” model: 39mm steel case, 12.7mm thick, about 47mm lug-to-lug — friendly to many wrist sizes
Special features: rotating bezel inside, adjusted via the second crown (2 o'clock), keeping the classic style but operating conveniently and safely Movement & Technical Performance The watch uses an in-house automatic movement L888 (version L888.6) which has: A power reserve of up to 72 hours Anti-magnetic silicon balance spring COSC certified (accuracy -4/+6s/day) Water resistant to 300m (30bar), suitable for water environments and professional diving purposes Bracelet & Accessories
The watch is fitted with a “beads-of-rice” metal bracelet, which is a perfect fit for a vintage look. The bracelet has a double safety folding clasp with a tool-free micro-adjust mechanism (4 levels of adjustment) that is convenient for changing according to wrist size or weather The slightly curved body of the bracelet increases wearing comfort, especially for smaller wrists
Longines Legend Diver 39 millimeter on loan from Trifecta watches in Lafayette, Indiana.
That's where their brick and mortar is, but you can purchase this online, but when making
a larger purchase like this, I would probably email or call Jake or one of the crew there.
Just have a conversation with them before you just, I don't even know if you can just
buy it online.
I, with this brand, I don't know that you might not be able to, I'm not sure.
I'll put a link down below so you can check it out, but yeah, reach out to them.
Let them know that you watch this video.
Retail price $3,550.
Make sure you mention my channel, my video, see what kind of thing you can work out.
I think the white dial one's pretty hot though.
So don't expect too much on it because, yeah, they're selling like hotcakes.
And there's an update on these from the previous generation.
You now have an on-the-fly quick adjust clasp system on this, so pretty slick, very slim.
Just a double pusher.
Very slim and sleek.
Here's a look at the case back, little scuba guy going on there.
All right, let's talk about case size.
The case width is 39 millimeter, the lug to lug 47, the thickness only 12.7 and check
out the boxed, slightly domed sapphire crystal on this thing, adding to the thickness.
So it's a really thin watch and then you have 28 millimeter lug opening and then this excellent
center beads of rice bracelet tapers down to only 16 millimeter and you do have half
links as well.
So definitely a watch to get with this bracelet.
It's a complete package for sure.
6.4 millimeter, kind of signed, they're like scribed, screw down crowns.
This one's for the timekeeping.
It is a time-only three-handed watch using the automatic L888.6 COSC movement from Blanchine.
72 hour power reserve, I think it beats at 21,600.
It's a little bit slower to get that increased power reserve, but like I said, it is COSC,
so extreme accuracy and easy to use because you just set the time and go, like you don't
have to set a date or anything.
I really like my no-date watches for sure.
So happy to see this one.
And then you have that inner rotating chapter, bezel, whatever you want to call it, operated
by this screw down crown.
It just pops out and then it's a bi-directional, so you can time things however you need to.
Typically for diving, you would set it to the minute, screw it down, now you know you're
going to not worry about it potentially getting knocked out of position, like on a unidirectional
diver like this, you know, that could potentially get bumped and shorten your dive.
You're going to get your full dive on this one because you don't have to worry about,
you know, inaccuracies of the bezel moving.
I personally don't know anybody that actually uses a watch like this for diving.
So I'm guessing we're going to be timing other things, or it might just stay in that position
right there.
That's totally fine too, because it looks great, it balances out the dial, and it helps
you because now you have your 15, 30, and 45, if you need that assistance at a quick
glance for orientation and then you know quicker what time it is, your brain just captures
it faster.
You know what I mean?
I'm sure you're capable of telling the time with an analog watch.
Just saying, it just works a little bit better.
Let's try it on my 7 1⁄4", so you can see what that looks like.
I can manipulate this tag out of the way.
Perfect size, and because I traditionally like a little bit larger watch, the full white
dial on this one presents itself a little bit larger, definitely would be the colorway
that I would go with if I were going to pick up a Legend diver because there's really good
black dial, blue dial, there's those other colorways, but for me the white dial one would
be the way to go for my preferences.
Now let's give it a quick blast with the UV light.
Did we do a close-up?
I don't know that we did.
You can see you have lume plots going all the way around, and then on the cardinal positions
they have a little bit longer rectangle lume applications and further inboard, so you'll
notice that when we do the lume shot.
Check out that triangle, almost looks like it's hand-applied, it's kind of like concave
a little bit, it's pretty slick.
And then a nice black framed hand set, increasing the legibility.
Other than that, the dial is really well laid out, really symmetrical, and then of course
Swiss made down at the bottom.
Now let's give it a quick blast with the UV light.
Probably wasn't necessary, still going to do it.
There we go, and we have two color lume application, so you can see green on the hour hand and
then blue everywhere else tied in for the minutes, as well as the seconds hand, so very
good looking watch.
Make sure you tell Trifecta Watches that I sent you.
I'll see you guys on the next vid.
