Hi there, Wendy here from Draw So Cute. In this video I'm going to show you how to draw my Draw
So Cute turtles. So let's get started. With this drawing we're going to first start by
drawing the flower that sits on top of the head of the girl turtle. So right here I'm
going to be drawing some wiggly lines that are all kind of swirled together. So right here I'm
going to start from the center in here of the flower and I'm just going to keep twirling it
around wiggling it as I go. So this is just really all up to you how you want to wiggle it but the
whole point is to just keep going around and just swirl it till you get this big beautiful blossom.
So there's no right or wrong way to do this. Just keep going and I'm just gonna
keep swirling it around like that. So I just came up with this flower just as a more simpler way to
draw a flower and right here I've added another smaller flower. So at the bottom right here
I'm just gonna also do the same thing but this one's just kind of going to be shaped like that
and I'm just going to go inside
like that and right here I'm going to add some leaves and so maybe two more right here.
And so we've got the flower for our turtle and right here now we're going to start to draw her
head. So from right here if you were using a pencil you would have drawn her head first and
then added the flower but I'm using a sharpie so I'm just going to draw the flower first and so
from here I'm going to start drawing her head. I'm going to curve it down and in to the neck area.
So smooth that out. So we're trying to aim for the shape right here and so we're going to imagine
this going around coming out about right there and bring it in. So once again if you're using
a pencil just draw all the way around and so now we have the turtle's head in. Let's go and
bring her to life and give her some really cute eyes. So for the girl turtle I'm making a little
bit easier. I'm just going to give her these kind of like arch, just an arch for her eyes.
So about right here I'm going to draw a curve
and notice how it's at this angle. So I'm going to come in and thicken it and flick it out
and I'm just going to add some more lashes. Maybe three and right here come to the bottom
about right here. Don't go too high at the bottom right here. Add a little smile
and cap it off and right here you can just add a little curve at the top
and so we've got our girl turtle's head. So let's go and draw her body.
So from right here at this point I'm going to start to draw the edge of her shell.
So I'm going to come down and I'm going to start curving it and so this is
the edge of the shell and I'm going to come back up here where I started. I'm going to curve
and follow that line I just drew. So I'm just going to follow it
and I'm going to connect it back. So notice that it's just this head and I just drew this curve
edge and so from here you can draw the shell. So come out here and I'm just going to draw a big
curve comes in. So we got a little shell for a turtle and so now for the body. So once again
I'm going to come right here and I'm going to curve it out for her tummy for this is the chest
area and if you're using a pencil once again just continue a curve all the way here but I have to
stop and draw her hands first. So I know her hands are about right here so I'm going to come right
here and draw a curve down curve it around for her hand. So notice it's not sharp it's very soft
and curved around and right here I'm just going to draw three curves for the nails for the turtle
and right here I'm going to continue. Imagine continuing down the tummy and I'm going to stop
right here because I have to draw her feet. So right here I'm going to draw same thing nice soft
very soft rectangle kind of oval and I'm going to continue this line and bring it in to the
edge of the shell. So once again using a pencil just draw this first and then go in and draw the
hands and feet. So here once again one two three for the nails on the feet and right here I'm going
to draw I'm going to kind of follow that because for the back for the hands and right here for the feet
so it's a bit shorter because it's in the back and now let's go in and add some details to her shell
so I'm just going to draw right here
a big curve and another one and another one. You can decorate your turtle shell
however you like but what I'm going to do with mine is I'm going to add another
line and since this was inspired by valentine's and love I decided to give it a heart
of course right so I'm just going to put hearts right there so this one's going to be upside down
I'm going to draw an upside down heart like that so I got my girl turtle in now let's go and
draw the boy turtle. So the boy turtle is the same thing but just opposite way so we want them to
kind of not exactly touch but we want it to be very very close so approximately right here I'm
going to start to draw a curve right here so I'm going to come in and almost touch and
I'm going to come in for the neck area and come out so I'm kind of doing the opposite of what I
did over here and I'm going to curve it around for the back of the head
so you kind of just drew a circle almost with a little neck right there and right here for our
turtle I'm going to give him some hair so her boy and just accessorize him with hair and right here
I'm going to give him a big old drawstick cute eye so right here I'm just going to do a big circle
and two small circles inside for highlights and so for this
circle for this part I'm going to draw
a curve that goes this way so notice it's not
straight heart across it's slightly going up and I'm going to shade in the top
I hope you love these love turtles I drew for you because I got a lot of requests for turtles
and I figure hey it's Valentine's might as well make these love turtles for you because they're
so cute and lines at the bottom so notice the lines are also going this way because my curve
is going this way and so right here just draw another curve on top of the eye so my circle here
is kind of wobbly but it'll be okay there kind of fixed it and so come down here at the bottom
once again not too high come down and I'm just going to give it a cute little and cap it out
and so now once again we're going to do the same thing we're going to draw the shell
of the boy turtle now to the edge we're just going to go and curve once again
and you know you kind of want to end at the same level so about right there and I'm going to come
over here again and curve and once again follow whatever curve you made
and connect it and so then from here you can draw your shell so I'm going to come up here and
draw a big old curve and come back in and so then for my for this turtle I'm just gonna
once again draw these big curves right here once again it's also three you can do as many as you
want and for him I'm just gonna make it really simple and just add extra curves kind of like a
rainbow like that for my boy turtle and so once again I'm going to come in and draw his tummy
so with this boy his hands not poking out so this one's a little bit easier so I'm just going to
come around and draw his tummy and imagine that this line is going to go all the way around but
right here I'm going to stop because I have to draw his feet so once again I'm going to come in
with a curve a soft foot like that and one two three and we're going to continue this line in
and then for the hand I'm going to come out here
and draw the same thing and one two three so then for the back right here
one and then another one for the foot so I got my boy and the girl and of course
it's all about love so I couldn't resist adding a heart right in the center and of course if you
know me well by now I have to add some grass because they're outside so I'm going to give
them a little hill and guess what's going to be in the middle of this hill my dandelions
so you could add whatever you want right here but I'm adding two dandelions
I just always love drawing dandelions you don't know why so there are my love turtles
in time for some sweetness for valentine's for any time that you want to draw something very
cute and sweet thanks so much for watching please subscribe to get updates on more draw so cute
