Garden Route, South Africa: From Plettenberg Bay to Hermanus

We went along the famous Garden Route from Plettenberg Bay on the coast of the Indian ocean to Hermanus at the Atlantic ocean in South Africa.

On the way we visited spots like the Robberg National Reserve, the Knysna Heads, De Hoop Nature Reserve, the southern most point of Africa at the Cape Agulhas and the coastal region from Gansbaai through Hermanus all the way to Gordon's Bay near Cape Town.

Highlights include the coastal dunes of De Hoop Nature Reserve, untouched beaches at Cape Nature Walker Bay, the Robberg National Reserve with it's rock formations and breeding areas for seagulls, some whale watching around Hermanus and last but not least the marvelous coastal Route 44 between Pringle Bay and Gordon's Bay.
