Unit 2: My Body
Lesson 1: My Head
This unit focuses on the body. In this first lesson, which takes place in a single session, the students will learn to recognize and name six parts of the head: the head, the nose, the mouth, the ears, the eyes, and the hair.
Lesson 2: Colors
The second lesson, which will take place over two sessions, will allow them to learn to recognize and name the three primary colors: blue, yellow, red, and to discover a new character already seen in the first story of Unit 1: Gédéon, the goldfish.
Lesson 3: Are you happy?
The third lesson, which will take place over two sessions, will allow them to learn to express how they are feeling by answering the question "How are you?". The students are already able to say: "I’m not doing well at all," "so-so," "I’m doing well," and they will be able to add: "I am happy." They will also learn to recognize and name six parts of the body: the feet, the legs, the belly, the arms, the hands, and the fingers.
Lesson 4: It’s not a big deal!
In the fourth lesson, which will take place over two sessions, the students will discover the story "It’s not a big deal!" They will use everything they have learned in the previous lessons to understand the story.
