They say in America there's no replacement for displacement.
But over in England, Bentley has a different philosophy.
No substitute for speed.
Capital S.
And now, that signature speed swagger is back in the 2026 Bentley Bentayga Speed.
And it's not just fast, it's unapologetically old school, with a modern twist.
Before we dive in, don't forget to hit that subscribe button and like this video if you love
performance, luxury, and a touch of British madness.
Let's roll.
After waving goodbye to the W12 and retiring the Bentayga Speed in 2023,
Bentley gave us the Bentayga S, a sportier package, but not quite the same.
Well, forget all that, because the Bentayga Speed is officially back for 2026.
But here's the twist.
This time, it's pure V8.
No hybrids.
No W12.
Just a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that cranks out 641 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque.
That's 99 more horses than the old S.
And just a smidge less torque than the mighty W12.
Bentley says 0-60 takes just 3.4 seconds.
But knowing Bentley, it probably does it closer to 3 flat.
And if you opt for the massive carbon-ceramic brakes — the largest ever on a Bentley,
by the way — you'll unlock a top speed of 193 miles per hour.
On a luxury SUV, that weighs over 5,000 pounds.
We're not saying it's practical, but, hey, it's fun.
For the first time ever in a Bentayga, you get launch control and drift mode.
Yes, you heard that right.
Flip it into sport mode, hold the ESC button, slam the brake and gas,
and boom, you're launching like it's a Bentley track day.
Drift mode, meanwhile, lets you hang the tail out a little, just enough to scare the valet.
Also standard?
Four-wheel steering and Bentley's Dynamic Ride System for reduced body roll.
Sport mode even stiffens the suspension 15% more than before.
Though, honestly?
That might be a touch too stiff for Bentley's usual wafty ride.
If the regular wheels aren't enough, go for the new 23-inch alloys, Bentley's biggest ever.
And if you want sound to match the Fury, Akrapovic has stepped in with a titanium
exhaust that roars when you go hard.
Think elegant opera singer, who just downed an espresso and hit the gym.
Bentley didn't go wild with design changes.
Speed badging, darker trim, clear taillights, and for the first time ever, a black roof.
Inside, it's still a rolling palace.
Gorgeous wood, supple leather, and those iconic Bentley organ stop vents,
now even on the cargo cover straps.
It smells like success, it looks like money, and it feels like a five-star hotel on wheels.
Only downside?
Front seat controls are tucked way too deep between the seat and door.
Adjusting your seat shouldn't feel like playing Twister at 70 miles per hour.
If you're the kind of buyer who only shops at the top shelf, this is your ride.
The 2026 Bentayga Speed is all about presence, performance, and peak British luxury.
It's not the most sensible SUV, and that's exactly the point.
But hey, even if you go for the standard Bentayga, you're still getting a Bentley.
And sometimes that's all the speed you need.
So what do you think?
Worth going full speed?
Or would you save a bit and stay with the standard Bentayga?
