Guess what? We're about 4 000 kilometers away from Spain. This time we're visiting Turkey,
which is overflowing with destinations for tourists. After traveling thousands of kilometers
throughout the country, we've put together five coastal towns in Turkey that we think are the best.
Cesme is a small and quiet town located on the Aegean coast about 80 kilometers west of Izmir.
This sunny town is very popular for its gorgeous views over the Aegean Sea and the Greek island
Chios, which is only eight kilometers away and can be easily accessed by ferry from the port.
One of the main attractions of Cesme is this alluring 500-year-old Cesme castle that can
be seen from the promenade. As you stroll along the picturesque streets, you'll see souvenir shops
and restaurants that invite passers-by with their appealing smell of grilled fish and love bread.
Cesme's new marina that attracts sailors from all over the world is a very lovely place with elegant
and playful alleys, nice clothing and souvenir shops, and charmingly decorated terraces.
Cesme will not get you bored as there are so many interesting things to do in this magnificent town.
Bodrum is a port town in Muğla province located on the southwestern side of Turkey.
You have probably heard about Bodrum having a huge expats community. This region attracts people with
its good climate and rich growing economy. If you are fond of history or architecture, you should
visit the castle of Bodrum, a 14th-century historical fortification built in the port of the town,
the battlements of which open absolutely splendid views. If you are there, don't forget about these
other two highlighted things, Grand Bazaar and yacht tours that will take you to the nearby islands.
You'll find sand pebbles and small stones beaches which are incredibly clean. We should probably
come back here to stare at its perfect landscapes and taste a bit from its old history and incredible
culture. Kemer is a small Mediterranean coastal town located just 40 kilometers south of Antalya.
This seaside resort is surrounded by pine forests and mountains, offering crystal clear waters,
fresh clean air, and good weather. The beaches are very welcoming having this clean and calm
waters that are literally calling you to dive in. Those who need some sweetness added to their
vacation, no need to go too far for yacht tours, as in Kemer you'll find tours that will take you
to the most beautiful places of Mediterranean region. Kemer has nice pedestrian areas full of
shops, bars, and restaurants. You can spend time without noticing how it is actually flying, as
there is always something that captures your attention and keeps you busy. If you want to
escape the big city's crowd, Kemer is just the right place. With a mix of modern beach resort
alongside traditional bazaars, Kusadasi is a major cruise ship port and a popular tourist
destination on the Aegean coast in Turkey. This town was founded in 3000 BC and ever since it
has been a center of art, culture, and history not only of Turkey but also of many civilizations.
Don't hesitate to visit historical sites with their impressive architectural pieces.
The old part of Kusadasi, known as Kaleci, is a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with nice
restaurants and shops that offer everything from local Turkish delight to leather,
gold, and Turkish carpets. Aside from its golden sandy beaches and clear warm waters,
Kusadasi offers incredibly beautiful views of the sea and the neighboring island. The closest
Greek island to Kusadasi is Samos, making it a good day trip option. With this special vibe,
Kusadasi is a truly wonderful place, a perfect getaway for tourists. Marmaris is a coastal
town located in the southwestern side of Turkey. This fantastic town's fame is based on the
beautiful weather and the stunning landscape. The town is situated in a valley surrounded by pine,

The promenade has a total length of about 10 kilometers. It starts in Marmaris and ends in
the neighboring village, İçmiler. As you walk on the pier of Marina, you'll be impressed by the
array of those super yachts. The marina offers a wide selection of restaurants, bars, and cafes.
