Epcot Day - Festival of the Arts Food Booths, Shopping, Rides & More!

Hey guys, this is Jenna with ResortTV1 and today we're here at Epcot and we're gonna check out some of the Festival of the Arts things. You know, the food, some of the art. We haven't tried any of the food so I'm excited for that and probably ride a ride or two as well. So, oh and probably shopping. Hope you guys enjoy the video. So we came in on the left side so we can go to the shop first. But check this out, oh my goodness, for Guardians of the Galaxy. So cool, the spaceship. Looks like it's almost complete. There's another angle on that spaceship. Oh my goodness, so cool. Cannot wait to ride this ride. Wow, almost looks like Bumblebee. You can hear I'm working back here on the old temporary mouse gear. Used to be interventions. It's been a lot of things. I'm pretty sure this is where the new quick-service restaurant is gonna go eventually. All right, we're gonna head into the creation shop. I heard they have some new Epcot merch so let's go check that out and see if there's anything else new. Doesn't look like it's too crowded. I'm excited. Oh, here is the new Epcot merch right here as you come inside. So they have a new long-sleeve tee. Very cute. It's a gray color with like the Spaceship Earth kind of design on the sleeve and it says Epcot there on the bottom. It is $39.99. Nothing on the back. It's kind of a slicker material. Here's a new Epcot tank top. I actually got this because I'm like, oh goodness, I don't have very many Epcot things and the tank top is so cute. I love that design. It's got like a slanted hem there. Epcot pattern at the bottom and around the neck and the sleeve or the, yeah, the sleeves, not sleeves, but the armholes. This is $34.99. There's another new one and this is for kids but it's so cute. Look how cute little figment is and it says the new world. So world celebration, discovery, nature, and showcase for $29.99. There's another new one. This is pretty cool and it's showing some of the emblems, icons, whatever you call them for Epcot. Love that for $36.99. There's another new one, I believe. I love this, how it's in the shape of Mickey. Again, has those little icons for us for Epcot. It's $29.99. They also have some shorts down here. Looks like athletic fitting shorts. Pretty cool. $36.99 for this. Here's another new Epcot item. I believe it's a jacket. It kind of looks like a shirt, but I think, yeah, it's more of a jacket. Very lightweight. I like it. It's very cute. Again, that Spaceship Earth pattern. Pockets and on the collar. The jacket is $79.99 and the back is plain. So we're gonna head back this way to see what they have new in the 50th merch. Oh my goodness, so these are new for the 50th anniversary Funko Pops Cinderella Castle with Mickey. Oh my word, how amazing are these? See how much it is. $39.99. That's not bad. $40. So this isn't for the 50th, but this is pretty cool. Relax and recharge. I like that. Cute little Mickey there. See if we can find a price. Oh, here we go. Oh man, $52.99 for a t-shirt? Really? Oh no, it's for the sweatshirt. I was gonna say, wow. No, this is not. Okay, $24.99. That's way better. Cute little sweat outfit here. Got the crop top for $39.99 and the pants are $49.99. There are some brand new ears too. These are super cute with like that pastelly tie-dyed and the fluffy bow and headband. I believe they're $29.99. All right, we think these sweatpants go with the Mickey shirt we just saw. Pretty sure. Oh yeah, those would go great together. Very cute. So they're pretty much everything that we've seen recently. Do love these little skyliners though. Very cute. For the 50th, golden Mickey and Minnie on there for $19.99. And they got the Mickey ear hats back in stock. I believe those were sold out for a while. I love those and they have like the plushy ears. I love how you can get into the creation shops over here. Creation shop? No, creations. I was right. That's an S on it. And you can head out into the middle. Well, not quite the middle, but almost. So we're gonna go check out some food booths now. All right, so we're gonna start at a food booth around the corner here, but I want to check out some of this art as we go by. It's so cool. I love this one. So many cool characters in here, old and new. We've got Figment, Chewbie over there in the corner. Love it. Oh my goodness, there's even a country bear and orange bird. Another super cool one. Oh my goodness, I love it. Looks like a little, well it looks like it's coming out of the book, the castle. So cute. There's even Tinkerbell over here. Cinderella. Oh no, that's Prince Charming. There's Cinderella. Cute. There's another cute one. Oh my word, look who's out on the water. The veggie veggie fruit fruit. Oh my word, that's awesome. Got Spaceship Earth. We have the castle. There's Pandora, and even a rock and roller coaster. A lot of cool things here. That is awesome. Oh my word, look, that guy, or girl, I think it's a girl, even has a Donald hat on. So cute. And he has baby Yoda ears. Gotta get the monorail shot, even with the walls in the background. This one looks like a comic. So cool. All right, so we're gonna head into Pop Eats. This is our first stop for today for the food boost. This is where the figment popcorn buckets were. They're sold out right now, but I'm actually okay with that because I got one. And I want to check out the tomato soup. I've been wanting to get this for a while. Tomato soup, I think we're gonna get the one with bacon, apple, and brie grilled cheese. And maybe even the popped art. We might get that too. So the line, of course, isn't that bad, like when a figment was here. So that's good. We can enjoy the food now. So here is what we got from Pop Eats. So we got the tomato soup in a tin can. How cute is that? And the grilled cheese, but this isn't just the regular grilled cheese. It's the bacon, apple, and brie grilled cheese. That looks delicious. Look at that. It's like green apples in there. And the popped art. Popped art. So I believe this this has a hazelnut and chocolate inside. We're gonna find out, but they look so good. And let's dig in. All right, we're gonna give it a try. Let's try the soup first, see how that is. Tomato soup. It's not super creamy, but it's so good. It's not really hot either. I mean, it's warm, but it's not hot. And it's cold today, so that's probably why. But it's good. Normal tomato soup. All right, next up is the grilled cheese with the bacon and apple and brie cheese. So let's try it. I could, I like it. It's interesting. I think everybody at the table saying the same thing. It's interesting. I think I would get it without the apples next time. It's okay. I bet it'll be better when you dip it in the tomato soup. Let's see if I can get it in the can. The can's kind of small. That's better. So yeah, next time I think I'll just get the regular plain grilled cheese. But this was fun to try. Something different. Yeah, not bad. Just interesting. And we have an amazing view right here, guys. Hopefully a monorail will go by and we'll get to show you that. But also check out my really cool ears that I just got from hannahmariemagic.com. They are Spaceship Earth ears for the beacons of light. Isn't that cool? And they go great with my figment. It's a figment jersey. Monorail shot! And dad went back and got the regular grilled cheese so we can compare. And it's nice and warm. They literally just made this. So let's give it a try. So it's just regular grilled cheese. Yeah, that's better. And it's fresh. That's probably why too. I got my sunglasses and the sun came out. But it's beautiful. Yep, this is what I get next time. That was fun to try. This one's better. Regular grilled cheese for the win. All right, we're ready for the popped art. So pretty. Let's see if we like it. Mmm. I mean, I didn't get to the chocolate yet. Still good. Way better than, you know, the box popped hearts because they're homemade. Well, I don't homemade, but they're their own recipe. Really good. And the icing on top, of Let's try to get into the chocolate here. All right, we got into the chocolate. I split it in half. It's delicious. It's melting because the sun came out and it's getting warm now. So bring a lot of napkins. It reminds me of the one at Woody's Lunchbox, which is delicious. So yeah, definitely recommend it. It's sweet though and pretty big size. So they're definitely shareable. So we came back around to the front and we're going to head over to the donut box. I think that's what it's called. The donut booth over here to try a few things. So the donut box is located right next to Test Track. So you can hear Test Track in the background. So it's over here in the Future World area, if you're looking for it. And it's very bright out, if you guys can't tell. This is the Bavarian cream vanilla one, I believe, and the chocolate. All right, I don't know what to try first. I'm going to go with strawberry because that's the one I wanted the most. So we're going to share these. I don't know what this guy is. Very pretty. Was I supposed to eat that? Ew. It's salty. I was not expecting that. Here, Mom, try it. I'm like, ew, here, Mom, try it. Okay, now it's not bad. It's just the initial salty. I was like, you weren't expecting it. It's weird. It's like that initial like, oh, salty. I thought it was gonna be sweet. Yeah. What is it? I don't know. Salty and something. Salty and something. All right, I'm gonna cut the donut. Like I said, we're gonna share. So yeah, it just looks like a regular old donut. I wonder if it has a strawberry flavor or it's just the strawberry ice cream. I don't know. So I don't get strawberry flavor on the donut. I think it's just a regular vanilla donut. And then you're supposed to like, eat the ice cream. I don't know. I don't even know if I'm, what kind of ice cream this is. So I'm just gonna have, whoa, there went all our stuff. It's windy. I'm just gonna try a little bite of the ice cream. Mom's about to lose it behind the camera. Not lose, like, she thinks it's fine. Oh my word. That is really good ice cream. Again, I don't know if it's like sorbet or regular ice cream. I should have asked, but it's delicious. That's where you get your strawberry. Of course, those strawberries are on the plate too. Not very sweet after the ice cream. That ice cream is the best. Best thing. Donut, okay. Just like a regular vanilla glazed donut or like a cake. Actually, I think it's more like a cake donut. I don't know. It's sweet and it's good. Let's try the others. Okay, trying the donut, uh, the chocolate. I'm trying a donut. Stand over there. A chocolate donut next. And it does have chocolate in the middle. So I've got a little bit here. I cut into the middle of the donut. Let's try. The chocolate in the middle is really good. Otherwise it's a little bit dry. Hope you guys can hear me. But yeah, it's okay. Nothing spectacular. I probably wouldn't get it again, but that chocolate in the middle is really good. I like the strawberry one better, but it's like a regular donut with chocolate. Okay. I think we're going to let dad try this one because he was excited for this one. So when dad gets over here, we'll have him try it for you. Okay. So I found a little hack and I'm sure you're supposed to do this, but I didn't think of it early on. My ice cream is melting and you put the donut in the ice cream. That's amazing. So dad's here and he is going to try the Bavarian cream one because he loves Bavarian cream. So we're going to let dad do the honors and cut it and cut it in the middle and see if we can find the cream. I do love Bavarian cream. He's excited. He also went to the car for us and took our jackets and got my sunglasses. Yay dad. And mom helped get the donuts. Yes. And mama mouse saved the table. Fruit pepper. And she got the coffee. Woo hoo. So did you find the cream? Yes. There it is. Let's turn it this way so they can see it. Sorry. Oh, it's just all in there. So if you can kind of see, I don't want to drop the donut, but it's like in between the frosting and the donut. Yeah. That's really bright. All right, dad. Woo hoo. I'm going to let dad try this one. This is all dad's. Oh my goodness sakes. Unless mom wants some. Unless I'm sweetie. Hey, that was a good face. Maybe he liked it. He liked it. He liked it. Two thumbs up. Four thumbs up. That is really good. Oh dad, we didn't even plan it. We both have our 35 Epcot shirts on. If you like Bavarian cream and I like Boston cream pie, that is really good. I'd eat three of those. No, maybe two. There you go guys. So from dad, you got a couple of who's. Oh, it just came out. So you would get this again? I would get it again and again and again. All right. He recommends it. And mom tried her chocolate donut. Mom, what'd you think? It was good. I mean, it's, you know, it's a regular cake type of donut and the chocolate's not too strong. I mean, it's not real dark. Goodie. All right. She'd probably get that one again. And the strawberry I would get again too. Cause it was really good to like dip in to the ice cream. And I think it was more of like a sorbet because it didn't taste very creamy. Um, so yeah, this was a win-win good donut. Let's check out Winnie the Pooh. How cute. Trying to find some butterflies. I also noticed they are setting up for the butterfly tent for flower and garden festival. I love the flower and garden festival starts the beginning of March. So we're heading back around the world showcase. It's pretty busy today. It's a Monday, but yeah, a lot of people out and about beautiful day. So we got a lightning lane for Ratatouille today. So we're going to go check it out. We're going to go ride Remy. So excited. So pretty back in here. Also very busy. So the standby is outside today. Not sure what the wait is. We'll see. Maybe we're going to go over to the lightning lane. So it's a 90 minute wait. Could be worse. All right. We're already up here. Here they go. Here's our rat. They're hungry. Too simple. That's it. The food is for them, not you. All right. So Remy was so much fun. Oh my goodness. It was fun, right mom? So fun. Hopefully I was able to get the clip that with the glasses. I was first time I've ever done that. So you might see a few clips with the glasses in the picture. Hopefully not, but still a lot of fun. And next we're heading into the world showcase a little bit more. We're going to go to the Encanto booth, try out the dessert. So this is what they have. I heard everything is delicious. A few things are spicy though. I think we're going to get the passion fruit mousse. Sounds good. The booth is really cute. Well decorated. Love this movie. If you guys have not seen it yet, definitely check it out. All right. So here is the passion fruit mousse. Looks good. Very, pretty. See if it tastes good. So it's really cool when you match your dessert. Excited to try this. This looks so delicious. Let's dig in. So we were looking through the book and look, it's prettier in the book. It must be out of this little flower. That's what it's supposed to look like. I'm sure it'll still taste the same, but it is a passion fruit mousse with dragon fruit jam in the middle. So let's see. Let's dig in. I haven't gotten to the jam yet. Kind of tart. Not my favorite, but maybe the jam will help. I don't know what that is on top. A different kind of mousse. It's a lot of mousse in this thing. All right, let's get to the middle here. There's like barely any jam. Oh, there it is. Okay. I found it. It's like a jelly donut, but not. Helps a little bit. I don't know. I'm not big on tart, like tart food. I probably wouldn't get it again. It's not bad. It's just not super sweet. It's pretty and it matches my outfit. I heard it was good. Again, it's not bad. It's just not my favorite. So yeah, I like the donuts better. Gotta see what dad thinks. He just had the regular mousse. He didn't get the dragon fruit yet. It came out. The whole jam in the middle. It's tart, but I like key lime pie, so it looks tart. It's not bad. I don't really like key lime pie. It's not a woohoo. Not woohoo like the donuts. Let me try it with it here. Yeah. Try a little of the jam. The jam is sweeter, so it does help. The jam's good. They had that mix throughout the whole thing. I mean, it's not bad. It's just a little tart. Like the donuts better, but it's still good. It is not as good as the donuts. All right. We're going to head up the middle here and see what kind of chalk art they have. Look how pretty those flowers are. I like how they made it look like paint. Wow. That's cute. All right. So here is the 3D art. Oh my goodness. How amazing is this? I'm going to get a picture of it. Post it on Instagram. All right. So here's some more. Oh my goodness. He looks real. He looks kind of 3D-ish too. Okay, cool. Oh my goodness. I want to take this home. Can I take this home?
