Oh, gosh.
Growing up in my family with five women
was a crazy roller coaster.
What time are you going to be at work today?
We have to schedule bathroom time.
Oh, gosh.
This side has more volume than this side.
And in the mornings, like, getting ready, like,
I know, like, I better stop and not blow dry my hair,
because we don't want to throw a breaker with all his tools.
Her underwear probably doesn't even
take this long to get ready.
She probably just wakes up gorgeous.
If it's a bad hair day, it's not a good day for Carson.
But thank god those are really rare.
I work at Sims Country Barbecue.
It is a barbecue buffet out in the middle of near nowhere.
I love my job.
I'm a host.
Hey, guys.
So I take plates off of people's tables.
I wipe down the tables, put the chairs up, sweep.
We have to let the people see that the desserts are on sale.
Beauty and pathetic.
We're going to try that one more time.
I also teach line dances and square dances.
Don't change directions.
I get to dance myself and clog.
Clogging is a big part of me.
I absolutely love it.
It's not the same as tap shoes.
So don't let anybody tell you that clogging
is the same as tap shoes.
It is not.
So when I go to audition, I'm going
to be bringing the judges some clogging
shoes and some spoons.
I'm going to show you how to clog.
Let's do it.
OK, I can clog a toilet.
No, no, no, no, no.
I definitely want to turn this into a night
at the Sins Country barbecue where
I can give them a little taste of where I'm from.
What are these, like, redneck maracas?
So double step, rock step.
You hold that.
Here's my spoon.
I'm spooning with Lionel.
Is this a spoon-off?
Lionel!
Yes!
You're a natural!
Hey!
You've been sandbagging on us?
What are you talking about?
I'm so proud of you.
You all heard my secret talent.
You've never done this before?
No!
Come on!
But I have been around so much clogging.
Me too.
So much clogging.
Not the toilet.
I'm great that I got to experience that with y'all,
because that brings a little bit of my home to y'all.
All right, can you sing, please, guys?
Yes, I can.
Please be able to sing.
Well, I'd like to say I can at least.
All right, what you got?
I'm going to be singing Loose Control by Teddy Swims.
Wow.
All right.
Now, that's encouraging.
Something's got a hold on me lately.
No, I don't know myself anymore.
Feels like the walls are all closing in,
and the devil's knocking at my door.
Whoa.
Out of my mind, how many times did I tell you
I'm no good at being alone?
Yeah, it's taking a toll on me.
Try my best to keep from tearing the skin off my bones.
Don't you know I lose control when you're not next to me?
I'm falling apart right in front of you.
Can't you see I lose control when you're not next to me?
Yeah, you're breaking my heart, baby.
You make a mess of me.
OK.
I don't like the look of you right now.
I'm scared.
Hello.
OK, so this is some weird silence, guys.
Hi, Luke.
How you doing?
He's amazing.
Thank you.
You wouldn't happen to be up for adoption, would you?
Oh, my gosh.
If you adopted me, I'd be so happy right now.
Oh, let's go home right now.
You, like, flipped a switch.
And then you're like, I lose gun.
And it's like, what is happening right now?
We were flogging, and then.
Listen, I'm going to send you to Hollywood
if it's the last thing I do.
OK.
Because you're a special one.
Thank you so much.
You have such a great personality and outlook.
One tiny note.
Yes, ma'am.
You're 16.
That song was a real, just big vocal song.
Don't overshoot with, like, song choices.
Absolutely.
And pick songs that fit your voice and your age.
Absolutely.
Thank you so much.
One other point, OK?
As fun as you are, don't think of yourself as a gimmick.
You're not.
You've got some talent.
Thank you.
OK?
I want people to take you serious.
Absolutely.
Thank you so much.
Yes.
Oh, yes.
Woo!
Oh, my gosh.
You're going to Hollywood.
Congratulations.
