Gator Wrestling Student almost gets eaten

Sorry about quality I recorded on GoPro and had to zoom in. Every August we have a competition who can catch the biggest alligator the fastest. This student came down the day before to take the class so he could compete. He wanted to go after gators on land so he could see them better. Well he ended up missing a few and then got in the corner where quite a few were hanging out. Since it was a competition I wasn't right behind him like I would be with a student. You can see he was about to jump on one and it turned to bite him. Then he started to back up and almost stepped on another gator who also tried to bite him. After standing still for a moment the gators lost interest and went to leave. He did catch the gator he jumped on at the end. Right after gator fest I misplaced this sd card and only recently found it.
