Hey guys, welcome back to another video of Azerbaijan travel series. Today's vlog is super special because we are going to Laza mountain. After a wonderful stay at Shadag mountain resort, we couldn't wait to explore the Laza mountain village. Laza mountain stands at over 3000 meters tall and we can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and peaks. As the road goes up the mountainside, we can see beautiful views of the surrounding area. This scenic route is known for its stunning scenery. A perfect place for nature lovers. Also, it's a popular destination for hikers and natural enthusiasts. The drive to Laza mountain is an amazing experience. The views from the top are truly breathtaking. It's a very remote and highest mountain in this area with scenic drive. The drive was very adventurous like Shadag as the roads were rugged and narrow and both the sides were covered with snow. Spring time, we can enjoy the scenic views of the snow-covered mountains. But during winter, the roads may be completely blocked with snow. After a 30 minutes drive, we reached this small village. As we can see the roads are not proper and it's a very secluded village. The views are very nice. From this area, we can see the high mountain peaks on all the sides. We got down to enjoy the beautiful views. After enjoying the beautiful views, we are now heading back to Guba. The distance between Shadag and Guba is approximately 44 kilometers and it took us about an hour and a half to reach Guba. We are crossing the Keshresh forest in Guba. This place is very popular among tourists for a relaxing picnic. Guba is one of the largest cities in Azerbaijan, located on the beautiful hillsides, 170 kilometers to the north of Baku, famous for its carpets, scenery, and delicious sweets. Guba is a charming and picturesque city with natural beauty and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan. What we are seeing is the Guba Genocide Memorial Complex and it's a social museum. On the way, we stopped at a good restaurant and had a delightful dining experience. The friendly staff and delicious food made it a memorable stop on Guba. The restaurant served a variety of traditional cuisine including kebabs, dolma, and plov, all of which were expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. Also, the restaurant's atmosphere was warm and inviting with cozy seating arrangements. The prices were quite reasonable. And overall, we had a pleasant experience and delicious food. After finishing our delicious meal, we are continuing our travel to Baku. Some of the beautiful sights we saw while driving through. We passed through many tourist attractions and monuments in Guba. Along the way, we stopped at a popular market to stretch our legs and grab some refreshments. We find here lots more Azerbaijani snacks, sweets, and bread items. We bought some of the traditional sweets and snacks also. After our enjoyable stop in Guba, we continued our journey towards Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. The drive from Guba to Baku takes approximately two and a half hours. We are exiting Guba now and continuing our travel. We can enjoy the stunning views on the sides. Also, we enjoyed the opportunity to stop and buy fresh fruits from local people selling their produce by the roadside. All the fruits are freshly picked and bursting with flavor. These delicious and nutritious fruits made a healthy snack for the remaining of our journey to Baku. This is a scenic and memorable drive. Finally, we have reached the Baku city around 7.30 pm. And so, we got to see a glimpse of the nightlife of Baku. And, this place is clearly very different from the other places of Azerbaijan. It looked very much like Europe to our surprise. And, it was already night time and now we are in the old Baku city entrance. We have booked our hotel in the Nizami area, very happening place of Baku. Now, we have reached the place. And, all the streets had a lots of shops and restaurants that we are going to explore later. This is our hotel that we have booked. It's called Central Baku. This street is always buzzing with activity, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. This is the place, we stayed for two days in old Baku city. This is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Baku, Azerbaijan. Central Baku Hotel's specialty lies in its ability to offer us a luxurious and comfortable stay with easy access to all of Baku's attractions. After checking in, we are proceeding to our room. This is our family room entrance. Actually was very surprising to us. When we entered, there was in another series of steps, a very unique model that we hadn't seen in any other hotel. But, regardless, it's very interesting. We have booked a suite with double bedroom. So, this is the living room. And, this is the first bedroom. The best thing about this room was the views that it offered. We can enjoy stunning views of the city from here. Amazing, breathtaking views of Baku's iconic skyline. Also, this hotel's central location allows us to easily explore the city's many attractions, including the historic old city, the stunning plane towers, and the vibrant shopping and dining districts. So, this is the bathroom. It was small but filled with all amenities. And, this is the second bedroom. After settling in, in our rooms and quick refreshment, we decided to go and have some dinner. So, here, we are in the Nizami Street, and now we are going to explore some of the places here. And, looking for a restaurant to have our dinner. There were lots of options, different restaurants, in every streets. Nizami Street is a famous shopping street in the heart of Baku, Azerbaijan. This street is known for its beautiful vintage look, with buildings and structures dating back to the early 20th century. The building structures gave a vintage look and they looked really good. The architecture of the buildings is a blend of different styles, giving the street a unique and distinctive character. Walking along Nizami Street, we can see a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes, as well as street performers and artists showcasing their talents. We have finally come into a restaurant called Frankie's. Even, from the restaurant, the views are very nice, as we are in the first floor. And, we ordered some delicious food. We got some pizzas, burgers, and more. And, every single dish was really delicious, and the prices were also nominal. The ambience inside the hotel is also very good.
