How to prepare the soil to plant grape vines

Hello this is Oscar and today I would like to share with you what we have to do to prepare the soil in the Douro Valley to plant young vines. So if in the old times you would need probably dozens or even hundreds of men to work the soil, nowadays a couple of machines can perform all the job. So we first use a bulldozer that with a blade is going to push the soil from the bottom to the top and we will also need an excavator and the excavator as you can see on the on the image is getting grabbing the big rocks and taking it to the ditch. So these two machines are enough to do all the job and in the end you will see all the soil ready for the to receive the new vines. I hope you enjoy!
