There we go! After almost 3 months, the long-awaited Flight 10 is closer than ever. And don’t think for a second this is just another test flight, it marks a huge opportunity for SpaceX to push toward a breakthrough, setting the stage for critical Starship preparations by the end of 2025.
That’s why they’ve mapped out every single objective with almost no room for error, because this mission is all about showing what Starship can really do.

Hey everyone, is anyone here living in Texas? If you are, then you’re seriously lucky, especially if you’re a true rocket fan. Why? Because you’ve got plenty of time to grab that perfect spot to watch the next Starship launch. My personal recommendation? South Padre Island. It’s hands down the best place to witness a 121-meter tall piece of rocket technology blasting off from Starbase’s launch pad, right around sunset, at 6:30 this coming Sunday.
Hopefully, the weather holds up, so we can all feel that deep, low-frequency rumble mixed with the sharp crackles that come from the shockwaves of 33 Raptor engines firing at once. It’s both eerie and exciting at the same time, like the sound is hitting your whole body or even pushing you back. Trust me, it’s a thrill you’ll never forget.

But if your aging back won’t let you go see it in person, don’t worry, just open SpaceX’s YouTube channel at 6 PM. They’ll be livestreaming it, and it’s going to be just as exciting, with millions of people tuning in right alongside you, just like every time. Oh, and Elon Musk also said he’ll share a technical update on Starship this Sunday too. Could be about Starship version 3, just my guess though.
So, how’s progress at Starbase for Starship Flight 10 looking right now?
Well, it’s all looking positive. Just yesterday, SpaceX moved Booster 16 out of the rocket garden and transported it all the way to Pad 1. Once it arrived, the Mechazilla arms quickly lifted it onto the orbital launch mount, and now B16 is standing tall, just waiting for Ship 37 to come over and sit on top.
With the booster in place, the big question now is: what about Ship 37? It’s pretty strange, today is already the 22nd, just a little over 48 hours before launch, yet SpaceX still hasn’t announced any road closures to move it out for stacking with Booster 16. But chances are, they’ll get it done quickly. After all, the transport only takes about two to three hours. By the time you’re watching this video, Ship 37 might already be sitting at Pad 1.
Well, turns out while we were asleep last night, Ship 37 was lifted onto its transport stand, and engineers also loaded eight dummy satellites into its cargo bay. The whole process was quick—just a little over two hours.
