Time Change Friday Night Live Stream Announcement - 1-26-24 - Walt Disney World

Guess what day it is! That's right, it's Friday Night Live and I'm super excited to be back on Friday Night Live after having a week off. It was a great week off, had a lot of fun at the Jazz Festival and at the beach and all kinds of things, but I am ready to get back to Friday Night Live and enjoying some time with our Resort Hopper community. And before we get too far into the video, I wanted to let you know that tonight we will be starting a little bit later at 6 30 p.m and the reason for that is I have some meetings and things at school that are going to be a little bit later and Jen and I always like to start the stream, you know, together at the same time so so that I'm not stressed trying to get to the stream. We thought let's just push it back to 6 30 so there's no, you know, rush or anything to get started. So it'll be starting tonight at 6 30 p.m eastern time or a little before if we get ready early, but we'll plan on 6 30 for now. And you might be wondering where, where are we starting at 6 30? Well tonight we will be live at 6 30 eastern time at the Magic Kingdom and the reason we're going to Magic Kingdom is because we want to say goodbye to the Country Bear Jamboree because it is the last day of operation in its current show today. So we want to definitely say goodbye to the Country Bear Jamboree. It's not even really in its original form now. It's had some things cut, but it's got a lot of original songs and the original characters, of course, and it was an opening day attraction at the Magic Kingdom. So we're super excited to say goodbye to this current version of it. We're also excited to see what they do with it moving forward. I'm glad there's going to still be bears in there. And even if they do, you know, different songs from different Disney shows and things like that. I hope that they put their own spin on it. Maybe have a few original songs and hopefully most of the same characters will be in there like Big Al and you know, everybody else that we really enjoy in that in that particular show. So anyway, tonight we'll be live at the Magic Kingdom starting at 630 p.m. Eastern Time and we'll be celebrating the awesome and amazing run that the Country Bear Jamboree had over the last 50 plus years. It's been really, really fun and it's been definitely a great show to watch over the years. It gets people clapping, stomping, laughing, all kinds of things. I'll probably miss some of the the jokes that they do, you know, and Mama Don't Whoop Little Buford and all that kind of stuff. It's just really, really great little show and we really enjoy it. So we're going to be saying goodbye to that tonight and of course riding some rides, watching Happily Ever After and just doing all the fun Magic Kingdom things. But we love doing it on Friday Night Live and it'll be the first time we've been to the Magic Kingdom on a regular Friday Night Live, you know, since the summer because we've had, you know, Halloween parties and then Christmas parties the whole time. So we're super excited to just do a regular Friday Night Live at the Magic Kingdom but a little sad, a little bittersweet to say goodbye to the Country Bears knowing that hopefully what replaces it will be a lot of fun as well and in the same spirit. So that'll be tonight starting at 6 30 Eastern Time. We'll also have our friends the Adventurelees joining us tonight because they won the Give Kids the World auction and were very generous with that, donating money to Give Kids the World and they won the auction to spend a super excited to have them join us and very thankful for the money that was raised and the money that they donated to Give Kids the World to win the auction to spend the Friday evening with us. So that money all goes to such a good cause with Give Kids the World helping families enjoy some precious time with their loved ones, especially when they're dealing with very difficult situations. And then Saturday I'll be back doing Saturday Night Live and that'll be a lot of fun. May start in the afternoon we'll see maybe four maybe five o'clock in the afternoon we'll kind of see how things go. And I'm planning on doing a little bit of park hopping. Originally I was planning on spending the evening at Magic Kingdom but we switched it up because we knew Country Bears last night was tonight. And so I think what I'm probably going to do tomorrow on Saturday Night Live is to maybe do some Skyliner park hopping between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We haven't seen Fantasmic for a while so I bet a lot of people would enjoy maybe seeing Fantasmic and maybe doing a little Epcot in the afternoon as well and some Skyliner hopping. So we'll kind of see how it goes play it by ear a little bit and we'll be a little more relaxed about not having a strict schedule or something. But I thought it might be fun to do a little bit of park hopping so we'll try that on Saturday Night Live.
