Designed by renowned developer Ron Gonen with interiors by Rachael Goddard, this one-level estate is the pinnacle of Southern California living. From the soaring 13-foot ceilings and seamless indoor-outdoor flow to the chef's kitchen, spa-like primary suite, and resort-style backyard with an infinity pool, every inch of this home is crafted for luxury, privacy, and effortless entertaining.
Hello, Luxury Home Show.
I'm Cindy Ambiel, and welcome to this magnificent one-story
at the very tip-top of Brentwood Hills.
I look forward to showing you around.
One of the remarkable things I love about this house
is how it's so unassuming from the front.
You do have a beautiful private gate.
It has a gorgeous courtyard, completely privatized,
but it's unassuming.
You don't really know what's here
until you get around the corner.
When you come inside this private gate,
you see ample room for parking,
a gorgeous custom garage door,
and what I love about this as well
is this water feature that literally had to be craned
into the house.
It sounds like you're listening to a running stream.
Come on, I wanna show you the inside.
When you come into this house,
you suddenly have this reveal.
13-foot ceilings, lime wash plaster,
Italian stone that was hand-cut and hand-placed.
It took them months to do this.
Look at the complimentary stone on the walls.
Everything lends itself to a smooth, natural feel.
It's a very calm and peaceful environment.
Something I absolutely love
about what the designer of this home did
is they accented all the neutrals
with this magnificent piece of stone,
and if you look, you only have one seam
on this entire island,
so you've got this great black, gray, and white accent
against the neutrals, and it gives it that wonderful pop.
When you're in the kitchen,
entertaining, you don't always wanna see the mess, right?
You wanna keep the dirty dishes elsewhere,
so come on back here.
I have what's called a dirty kitchen.
It has a secondary refrigerator.
We have a dishwasher, sink, and we have a coffee bar,
so it can be a chef's kitchen.
It can just be your dirty kitchen
where you have the mess,
so your front kitchen looks really nice.
The coffee station, I wake up every morning,
first thing I go to.
Big, huge walk-in pantry, all the custom cabinetry.
The millwork in this house, second to none.
This room is the wow factor room.
You have 13-foot ceilings,
and you have these tumbled stone walls.
One of the things that Ron Gonen and Rachel Goddard did
was they broke up the stone wall
by putting in all of the millwork and the cabinets
and the bookshelves, softening it.
I thought that was brilliant.
I never would've thought to do that.
Behind me, I have five bedrooms and six baths,
but I'll have to show you that one later.
One of my favorite features about the house
is how every room stays connected.
You've got this incredible, entertaining dining room.
We have a 10-person table, but you can go up to a 20.
It opens to this oversized family room,
gorgeous fireplace, and the whole time,
you have the backdrop of the Santa Monica Mountains.
This open floor plan with the travertine floors
and the travertine fireplace,
look at this solid piece of stone.
Usually what you see are a bunch of little pieces,
but this is one solid piece,
really framing the entire room.
Not only is the solid travertine aesthetically beautiful,
look how functional it is.
You push a button, look at that, press on it.
All this storage on both sides.
I have storage empty.
You also have the soffits and the 13-foot ceiling,
and at night, you can just turn on the LED lights,
and it's the most romantic environment.
The home offers an indoor and an outdoor bar.
The indoor bar overwhelms me.
I love this because the owner could have done
the typical wine closet with just the glass doors,
but again, like the bookshelves,
decided to give it a little bit more
of an elevated, sophisticated look
by doing the open concept, which I'm a huge fan of.
The Arabiscata stone, in my opinion,
just elevates the whole look.
I mean, come on, look at this view.
Who doesn't wanna come home to this every day?
It's magnificent.
Oversized infinity pool, entertaining area.
You have a fire pit in the middle of the pool,
a Baja shelf, jacuzzi, multiple outdoor entertaining areas.
I don't know, I think we should invite some people over.
As you can see, the indoor porcelain flooring
was continued to the outside.
It gives you that seamless indoor-outdoor look,
and it's extremely durable year-round.
The backyard is endless with entertaining areas.
You have lounge areas, socializing areas,
you have dining areas.
In the pool, you have a fire pit
with a circular sitting area.
Who doesn't wanna spend the afternoon here?
Let's go swim.
Part of the inspiration when Ron Gonen
was designing and building the house
was to have friends over,
have it be perfect for family and or entertaining.
Hence the media room opening up to the backyard pool area,
but of course, taking everyone over here to the bar.
So this is an incredible outdoor bar, barbecue,
refrigerator, sinks, massive TV.
Great for games, great for family entertaining.
Meanwhile, you're captivated by the view.
I don't think your guests will ever leave.
So smart with the entertaining aspect of this house.
Straight from the bar, you come in here
to this magnificent media room.
This room is straight off the backyard,
straight off the outdoor dining and pool.
Cozy up, watch a movie, stay connected with your guests.
Nobody would ever leave.
Before I take you to the other wing of the house,
I've gotta show you my favorite,
well, one of my favorite aspects of this house.
This is a 36 foot wide electronic door.
I sell a lot of homes, I have never seen one 36 feet wide.
Push a button and the whole thing closes
automatically and locks.
Easy.
Follow me to this wing of the house.
We have five bedrooms, six baths.
One of the bedrooms, Ron Gonen decided to turn
into an office, which I thought was brilliant.
He widened the doorway, added the metal doors,
and you have this beautiful office,
perfect for getting inspirational.
The powder room, exceptional.
You have natural stone throughout.
Look at the height.
And you also, you don't see any door getting under the sink.
He put the door on the other side, which is so smart,
so you're not looking at it.
Instead, you're looking at the natural stone.
He thought of everything.
As you enter the bedroom corridor,
you have 13 foot ceilings, the beautiful lime wash walls.
You have your laundry, centrally located,
and then you have all your bedrooms
tucked away for privacy.
Bedroom one, beautiful walk-in closet.
Every bedroom is an en suite,
with a beautiful shower and tub combination,
or a gorgeous floor to ceiling limestone
Before I show you the other bedrooms,
I have to stop and show you these doors.
I'm obsessed with the craftsmanship of these doors.
Solid doors, custom handles.
Look at the height of them.
Come and see this room with a view.
Again, all of the rooms are generous in size,
and this particular home is being sold
with all the furniture, so it's move-in ready.
Bring your toothbrush.
Again, every room has a built-out closet
and a magnificent full en suite bath.
Now I'm gonna take you to the primary bedroom.
It's magnificent.
Walk into this space with the coffered ceilings,
and come and look at what you'd be waking up to
every single morning.
Look at this view.
Depending on the buyer's needs,
Ron Gonen decided he is going to equip this wall
and that wall for a TV.
So if you wanna position the bed in a different wall,
you don't have to turn the TV on either side.
Now that is a builder who thinks of everything.
Now, let me show you the primary bathroom.
Who doesn't love a primary bathroom
with radiant heating flooring?
This bathroom has it all.
You have the dual sinks.
You have the whole west-facing wall
that has nothing but windows,
and you can frost the windows out if you're in the shower
and feeling a little modest.
This bathroom is so spacious.
You have room for your oversized standing tub.
And right into the fully-equipped, built-out primary closet.
It's like a Chanel showroom.
I would dress this up by having all of my hanging
on one side, my shoes put here,
my bags where they're covered in this glass cabinet,
keeping all the dust off,
and of course, you have a vanity for hair and makeup.
Well, I've shown you the house during the day.
Wait until you see it at night.
Thank you, Luxury Home Show,
