Julianne & Derek Hough Speak On Sibling Rivalry, New Tour & Greet Fans At Universal Studios 3.7.17

show well I mean you know we call it Beyond because it's going to be beyond anything we've done before you know it's our third tour and we want this one to be bigger and better than we anything we've done before and uh it's going be more theatrical I mean it it's going to be like a rock concert for dance and you know the audience is going to be are going to be you know involved and it's going to be just a great show is it is this I'm sorry is it essentially a story though or is it does it all connect somehow this one will have you know a little bit of a through line a little bit but but for the most part it really is just just like you know Ju Just D very Dynamic you know we're going to have all styles from bomtom of L to contemporary to flamco to tap to to um just everything you can think about we're going to be doing it all so and singing as well yeah singing everything and I think the big thing for us is that the whole reason we go on tour is to connect with the fans and the audience and get out of our small bubble of LA and and actually see them and and cities yeah go to your cities um we have our ups and downs in our lives and we go through um good times and low times but we're always moving and I think that that's for us is it's really important and it's like all of those chapters in your life get you to where you're going and so that's sort of our our little teaser um but everybody has that journey and um so we're hoping to transport our audience beyond their expectations too we're so competitive with each other and we really want to like up the antie but it's Cho ch choer so I obviously spent a lot of time together and I know how I am with my sister I mean I love her death but after a while I we're both feisty and and I don't know it's just we Latin and hot temper like sometimes how do you all keep from from uh cuz I'm sure you have your differences and you fight just like any brother and sister but you got to keep it professional on The Show Must Go On yeah I I think I think we just have a really good communication you know I think we both are very like-minded and we we both understand that we want the same results um our processes are a little bit different sometimes and that's where we kind of get into like some confrontation but you know if we get into an argument we just do a dance battle we you know dance it out and of course being the gentleman I always let her win so way to do it man I mean that's how you solve all problems you should I got I got four sisters only boys so I just go you're right smart man I'm lost nothing but very you learn every man should learn later on hey and uh I know that uh I've told you I follow you on social media you look like you had fun at your Bachelor we oh yes I'm telling you that was the best trip I've ever been on in my life it was so much fun where did you guys go um well we did we did like this cruise and then we um ended up in in Cabo and it was amazing like a morning Grand yeah exactly exactly it was fun it was sort of like the only time that all of us could get together at one time U with having three sisters a sister-in-law three moms a baby and friends with at work and do different things so was like the perfect time before I go on tour as well and so it was kind of like let's just do a girls trip and celebrate this and celebrate life and I have to say like yes we posted a lot but I kind of feel like it's fun like this is what's awesome about social media is that you get to I'm All About community and connectivity and like you can tell the stories that you want appreciate it people came up to me and Supermarket like oh most Bach part look so much fun I'm like hi [Music] Julia can we get a wave you got a fashion shot julan [Music] yeah got it awesome nice to meet you yeah let's do it oh all three of us all three of us or four of us I should there that's perfect of course you cute girl jul I just want to say bye oh of course see you later was nice to see you look up you guys need that sorry LS all right one two one more you so much all right sorry folks sorry folks
