Building a Cabin by the Lake #2 Roof and Raft Construction from Recycled Materials
In the second chapter of my lakeside cabin journey, the weather turned against me. Heavy rain poured for hours, turning the ground into mud and the air into mist.
Using plastic barrels, I built myself a simple raft — a project I’ll continue to improve over time.
For the roof, I scavenged discarded materials I had found in the trash and repurposed them to cover my cabin, giving the place new life.
Living here is not just about building; it’s about adapting, creating, and turning what others throw away into something magical.
