New Years Eve at Epcot - Behind the Scenes With Dale - Walt Disney World

Hey, it's Dale with ResortTV1. And I'm Jenna. And we're actually here today because most of the videos you see is done by Jenna. Oh, me? Yes. And today we're at Epcot. Yes. It's New Year's Eve. Yay! And Jenna's going to be streaming all night. So I decided I'm going to do a little bit of Dale's behind the scenes of New Year's Eve off stream around the park. That's right. So we got here a little bit early this afternoon. We were invited to a late lunch, early dinner. Yeah. So we're doing that. And then we'll be here the rest of the night. To enjoy the festivities. Yes. Enjoy all the festivities. Epcot. New Year's Eve is always an absolute blast. It's a must do. It's a bucket list item. Totally. So if you haven't. It's beautiful right now. It is beautiful right now. It was raining earlier. Sun's out. Yeah. We're ready to go. We're ready. So we made it into the Annapolis and we got some focaccia bread or something. Focaccia? We're not sure. And what did you get to drink? I have a white bean burrito. It's amazing. It looks very good. I got a peroni. And we have friends here. Well, we have our friends Mark and Allegra. They came with us as well. They're the ones that I'm always working on the house. So yes. Check it out. The house. It is fantastic. It's amazing. And the house is amazing. So we got that. And we got drinks, food, and pizza coming. And so much fun. So we ended up getting the prosciutto. Look at that. It's very good. And then also the meat lovers. I've never had the meat lovers. This looks amazing. And they're huge. They are huge. These are mediums. Schmediums. Well, the DJ over here in Italy is all set up, ready to go. Later, we'll all be over here going, pshh, pshh, pshh, pshh, pshh, pshh. It's busy. It is getting busy. Well, it was getting busier and busier. And they do fireworks tonight at 630, I think, as well. So we're going to find our spot over here in Germany to get the fireworks. Josh was eating dinner. We got done eating dinner. We came over here to grab our spot. Jenna went to get some coffee. And it's still an hour until fireworks. But everything started filling up all along the edges. And the sun is becoming really nice as well. So we're here, ready for the fireworks. Well, you know when they have the tape out on all the walking areas with arrows on the floor, you know it's going to be a busy night. A lot of traffic control. It is getting a little nuts already. It is busy. It's going to be a fun night tonight. So I had to leave to head over to Boardwalk real quick. Came back. The line to get back in is over here, past the Skyliner entrance. Crazy. Underneath there are some firework crews. You can rent a pontoon and get up close in your own pontoon to watch the fireworks. We're just getting ready to start. Wind up getting a whiskey sour at one of the food booths. It wasn't busy right now because everybody else is watching the fireworks. The 6.30 fireworks. Let's give this a go. Oh, that's very good. Instead of just whiskey and like a blackberry wine. Oh, that's delicious. Jenna would like this. So this is the 6.30 fireworks still and this is how busy, how busy it is. It is packed. They have the dividers out here, the traffic control, mafia going. Keep everybody in order. Josh and Jenna, they are streaming right over there. I can't get there though. So I'll just sit here and chill until they get done. Well, that's the first show and the New Year's Eve one at midnight is just so much crazier. Well, I am over here by Japan right in front of the DJ and he's going to get it starting right at seven o'clock. This is the DJ that knows Jenna and Josh Resort TV One. He said, be over here in Japan at seven to when the party starts. And I found Jenna and Josh behind the scenes as they're streaming and waiting for the DJ the party to start as well. There's nobody here yet, but as soon as he gets it started, everybody will be here. Here we go. The DJ fun begins. Oh, we're just left Italy. What do you think? Oh, it's so fun. It's a lot of fun. A lot of fun. And now. So what does that mean? That means China. China. OK. Yes, China is just ahead. So we got the whole crew here. Jesse, Julian, Ivone, Kelly having a heck of a time and Josh is off with the stream. So we're going to find him. Here we go. Let's do this. So this year, up at the front over here, the community hall area, they have a DJ as well. Jenna was getting a balloon. See what they got going on. Come on. There's a little photo op area over here for 2025. Jenna's getting a little high key, I'm guessing. All right. So Kelly and I, we took off. We left the wives to bigger and better things. Maybe, maybe not. Who knows? I got me a little chestnut praline ale. It's not too bad here at this little side booth here. The line was short. So on a night like this, wherever the line is short, that's where you try to find something. And this line was short. Man, these almonds right now are smelling amazing. And right there is the chestnut praline beer. So I came over to UK and this line to get into the silence dance party is a long one. But this is so much fun. So I think I'm going to hang out in line. So we are over here at the silent disco party. It's funny because if you take your headsets off, like I do right now, you can hear people singing. But it's like absolutely quiet. So what happens is there's three different levels on here, three different stations. Three different DJs that are here. Green, red, and blue. So there's like three different DJs. There's one here. There's one over there. And then there's one over there. And they're DJing. And you get to choose which one to listen to. It's funny. You can hear some people sing according to what they're listening to. Let's see if I can turn one of these and have you hear it. If I crank it up, you might be able to hear. There you go. That's blue right now. And then if I switch it. And that's red. If I switch it again. That's green. Sounds like most people are on the blue. Yep, I hear a lot of people on blue. It's a lot of fun. It was a long line though. It was a long line. So you can see that the majority of the people are on green right now. And they're singing. But me personally, I'm on blue. A little low ride regulator. I know you can't hear it. It's on green. You can hear them singing. That's too funny. They're all singing. So currently green is sweet. You can hear it. I'm not sure what it's called. It's sweet cherry pie. I think. I'm not a good singer. That's it. Well you know what song is playing right now on the green chain. So we came back over here in Japan. Check out this crowd. Oh my goodness. It is absolutely packed. So much fun. Coming back to Italy again. And they are back to bumping. Well we made it back around the world once again. Josh over here doing the Josh hustle to get over to China. To check out what they're doing here. So we were able to get some special viewing over here at this dock. So they'll come and grab us here in a little bit. And we'll head out there and we'll get some amazing views for the fireworks. So here is our special viewing tonight of the fireworks. Over here on the right across from the Canada dock. We were invited out here for this viewing of the fireworks. Good evening everyone. In just 10 minutes Epcot will proudly present cheers to the new year. A sparkling celebration. This dazzling fireworks show is visible all around World Showcase. So gather your loved ones and get ready to ring in the new year in just 10 minutes. Close. This is quite the view. See if we can see some of the fire going from China. China is over there. See if the DJs are still rocking out. I haven't seen any fire lately. And then over there is good old USA. Japan is right over there. We were rocking out earlier as well. Welcome everyone to our New Year's Eve sparkling celebration. We are happy to have you here with us tonight. As we await the appropriate midnight here in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Let's go over here on the bridge. Everybody have an absolutely amazing time. On the first day of 2025. That was funny. Everybody was yelling one more, one more. And he just slowly went behind his DJ booth. It is 1am. So the park is officially closed. That's a wrap. And that's the beginning of 2025. Don't drink outside the park. You gotta chug it. That's how you finish the night. So the Skyliner has a bit of a line. Wow. It goes all the way back there. Comes back out here. And wraps around down here. Wow. Well. Next morning. Did not do an ending clip. So here's the ending clip that we're doing. But last night, absolute blast. How much fun was that? New Year's Eve at Epcot is a bucket list item if you're able to do it some year, highly recommend. Lots of fun going around the countries and just doing that each and every year. Leaving the park is always a mess but we stayed a little bit later. that way the traffic and everything is not as bad. But thank you for coming along.
